I contacted the guy already and I'm waiting for a 2nd response, IF we're lucky this poster is not going to hit eBay, let me say that again "IF we're lucky".
But if anyone have a little bit more information please let me know, but don't let roger know"The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it"

I wouldn't buy this. Stan's on the back of the poster. State's it's in mint condition on the front, while seeing the pictures, there's bent corners all around. If this is the guy, I would pass.0 -

And if you look closer it looks like the stain has bled through a bit in the white part of the poster. Even though Im sure it will be framed and not show any white, that poster should be passed on for sure! Unless, there is no further bidding and it can slip through for $11 bucks!!!0 -
Its sooooooo difficult to find these old boys in solid condition. Most kids back then destroyed them in their dorm rooms or whatever. Keep the faith LukinFan! Im hoping this isnt the same guy."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250

I was thinking about something the other day because I too long for nearly unattainable posters (Charlotte '96, Raleigh '98, etc.). Now that Fathead.com allows you to upload your own pictures, what's to stop someone from getting a high res image of their coveted poster and creating a fathead to stick up on the wall (for personal use)? You could enjoy the poster hanging on the wall in perfect condition without having to spend the extra cash framing (though framing looks great) or being taken for a ride on ebay.
I'm not looking to rip off the artists or anything by distributing these copies and it wouldn't stop me from buying posters from the artists when I can get them, but this would seem to fill a need for getting our hands on posters that can only be attained through ebay for a small fortune. Thoughts?this city is so filthy, like my mind in ways0 -

I suppose its a bit like someone having reprints of the mona lisa.....but if this is to be done it should be done by the artists who have the copyright to them....
people collect posters as art and the associated value, and people like to have the real thing on their wall.
plus a reprint wouldnt be silkscreened, it might just look awful0
