Melbourne, 45,000
Sydney expected close to 50, 0000 -
i dunno bout other venues
but apparently members equity stadium in Perth will only allow 15000makes much more sense to live in the present tense0 -
Probably true ..... in the stands!! But the oval itself, as well as the stands were packed !!! the paper said almost 25,000 the next day !!0

seems to me that no shows were sold out? i mean, the 10c homepage had links to buy tix for the shows up right until the very end? big-ass stadiums!Stay with me...

I am myself like you somehow0 -
auckland has sold out apparently0

That's generally the case for any Australian shows though, was the same in 2006 in arenas. There's just far fewer 10C members over here compared to the US, usually a few hundred at each show at best.decides2dream wrote:seems to me that no shows were sold out? i mean, the 10c homepage had links to buy tix for the shows up right until the very end? big-ass stadiums!0 -

was no criticism, just merely a statement.
i also added the caveat of "big-ass stadiums" to drive that point home.
surprised they played such large arenas.
also a big part of why i decided to stay home this oz tour...i can see em in big-ass stadiums at home. and sure, GA is fun - but i actually wanted my mediocre 10c # to get me awesome seats in oz. next tour. 8-)Stay with me...

I reckon there were more at Melbourne than at Sydney.Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140

If there were 30K+ people at the SFS on Sunday (and that looked like a possible number from where I was standing), would that make that show the biggest Oz PJ crowd since Eastern Creek in 1995? From memory, that show also had a crowd of about 30k.0

I thought someone said 40,000 in Melbourne?0
