Downloading some shows..

and i need help! they're .rar and i dont know how to listen to them, i've got a mac so i don't think it works the way it's supposed to or something.. i'm very computer ignorant about these types of stuff, can i convert it to something that plays on a mac? what DOES play on a mac? i have divX on my computer, that's what automatically pops up whenever i try to click on a file that's .rar

    .rar?

    That means you have to extract the files. Since you're on a Mac, google and download StuffIt so that you can open the files. Then you'll be able to play them on iTunes just fine.

    i think the files are compressed into a rar file (like a zip file). try searching for a free version of winrar.exe on the net and it will help you 'unzip' the rar file and then the songs will be in a format like mp3 or whatever...i think!!

    .rar files auto-expand with StuffIt Expander, which comes pre-installed. PM me if you need more help
