    I just found out a close friend of mine moved to a flat, that is just opposite mine, and her floor is almost level with mine as well, so I can actually wave at her from my kitchen window. Pretty cool.

    I mean, I knew she had moved pretty close, but that is really close!! :lol:

    what sorta made my day is having my last cig this morning and so far feeling ok about it. i just need to make it through the rest of the work week, i'll be fine come the weekend.

    a chilly morning with blanket, coffee and thoughts on the front porch
    saw a squirrel with a mouthful of leaves going up to reinforce his nest
    brought back the memory of when we moved in in 96
    I was sitting with my then preteen daughter on the front steps
    it was dusk and we saw the same thing a squirrel with his leaves but my daughter says- look mom he's got a "bankie" too- cute thought him covering himself with the leaves
    I love my memories its the best part of my life
    I hope when I leave i get to take them with me

    It's gorgeous out! shut off my heat and opened windows in my house. I took to mowing/mulching my lawn in lieu of the dreaded job of raking. My dogs hanging in the yard with me. Getting ready for the Pats tilt at 1pm.
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    Soooooo many things!!

    I had a great weekend which included seeing The Rocky Horror show on Friday night with Dave's sisters. We also met up with a very lubley and much loved PJ friend at the show, it was awesome to see her and her sister again. :mrgreen:

    Having confirmation that although something medical is a 'bit weird', it's extremely interesting, i'm one in many million and it's easily worked around. I don't even need surgery! :D

    We've done trial runs for the Christmas sweets (tested on willing guinea pigs at work) and they're a huge hit! Success! :D

    Feeling healthy and focused on my fitness and weight again.

    Christmas presents for Dave are sorted! :D

    Being invited to spend a weekend in the Lake District with great friends for a walking and Mountain biking holiday in August next year. :)

    Plans for my birthday... even though it's in January :o:mrgreen:
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    One of my coworkers has been out of work since the start of the school year after suffering a stroke...but today she is back! looking good and feeling good. One of the kindest most genuine people I know. So glad to see her making a recovery :)
