  • My wife (we're separated) FINALLY allowed me to see my son today. It has been two weeks.

Who cares about all the bullshit... I got to play with him for 2 hours over an extended lunch.

When I was a kid, there was NO WAY they would cancel school before the snow started... I remember treaking in 3 foot drifts to get my butt there on time.

    But AWESOME for you ;)

yea, i do miss that from my teaching days.
i have to await a 'state of emergency' for the office to be closed. but our global partner did give us a link to check. :| so i either drag my ass in and hope i don't get stranded or take hours to return home...or i have to waste a vacation day on mother nature. here's to hoping for a state of emergency :D or at the very least.....the weather to NOT be bad, so i can actually get to/from work, no problem. that's fine too. 8-)
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

Not having to go to work was about the only good thing that happened today. Maybe I won't have to go tomorrow also.

A complete stranger from these 10c Forums sent me 1 personal message.
It stopped me from throwing the towel in.
