I Have Temple of the Dog's CD in my Pearl Jam collection, but should I put Neil Young's "Mirrorball" also in there?
I don't think I should, How About You?

I agree that they go together, BUT I cannot really hear Eddie's vocals on any of the songs, on Temple of the Dog, I Can....

I wouldn't consider it a PJ album. Mirrorball is a Neil Young album, he wrote all of the songs and the dominant vocal and guitar are Neil's - Stone, Jeff, Mike and Jack were just his backing band. When you listen to it, you think "That's Neil Young singing", you don't think "That sounds a bit like Pearl Jam, who's the singer?" Eddie only has a lead part on Peace & Love and didn't go on tour with them so his involvement was pretty minimal.“Do not postpone happiness”

Mirrorball should stay with Neil Young. There's something comforting to me about that knowledge that my favorite artists have threads all throughout my collection. I don't want to confine Eddie and the guys to just PJ. They belong EVERYWHERE.0

Great album! But it's a Neil Young album. I wouldn't call it a Pearl Jam album.
I also don't think Temple Of The Dog is a Pearl Jam album either.
Mother Love Bone isn't Pearl Jam either.
All really really great masterpieces but I wouldn't call it Pearl Jam.0 -

I think the only one he appears on is "Peace And Love", on the final verse. This is a tough decision, cause I can see it either way...but I've always tried to think of it as an amazing side-project Pearl Jam did on the side and more so of a Neil Young album.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

Agreed. It's a Neil Young album, just like Merkinball is a Pearl Jam EP, even though it has Neil on it (and doesn't have Stone or Mike).
That being said, I'm glad that PJ at least plays some of the songs of them (Throw Your Hatred Down, Long Road, I Got Shit). If only Neil (or PJ) would start playing I'm The Ocean again..."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

If I had more than an mp3 copy I would put it with my PJ, just b/c that's how I came upon it.0

it's a neil young album. you wouldn't know pj had anything to do with it if eddie didn't do backup on two tracks...i do however like to include i got id and long road with mirrorball when i listen to it just because..such a good album though.0

it's pretty close but no eddie on most of the tracks and all Neil Young written songs means a neil young album.I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Ok, i made up my mind, it will stay with my Neil Young cds, and not with Pearl Jam, Thanks.

I initially thought of labeling the artist (in iTunes) as Neil Young & Pearl Jam, but I realised Eddie only contributed on one song. The way I see it, it's definitely a Neil record.0

I Guess what I was trying to ask was is it OK for this CD to be placed in my Pearl Jam Cd Case. But now that you mention it, I think it will stay out of it. Ok, here's another tough decision,
DO I PLACE THE "INTO THE WILD" SOUNDTRACK IN WITH MY PEARL JAM CDS?
HOW ABOUT THE "SINGLES" SOUNDTRACK?

Yes, we know it's a Neil young album, but it is Pearl Jam(Minus Eddie) playing the music, and Neil Young Singing the songs. It will stay in with the Neil Young CDs, and not with My Pearl Jam CDs, thanks.
