    Since I quit smoking my caffeine intake has more than doubled. I'm easily into double figures everyday. But I figure, one addiction at a time.

    i used to drink two or three cups every morning when i hit the office. did this for close to 10 years. this spring i quit cold turkey and switched to water.

    i still get a starbucks on the weekends 3 or 4 times a month. that about it.

    i don't drink much soda either.

    every morning i have a few cups of hot tea with lemon. add sugar or honey.
    lately i been drinking about a half a gallon of ice tea every evening.

    i was an avid tea drinker ALL my life, with the occasional cappuccino. then a few years ago i caught the iced coffee bug. LOVE iced coffee! it did infringe on my hot tea habit tho. now i balance between the two, and i usually drink iced green tea each evening with dinner, well, as long as i'm not having wine...:P

    *oh and yes, i too make it by the 2 quart pitcher each week, 1 or 2x a week....and a 2 quart of iced coffee too.

    There is no doubt in my mind that coffee is an addiction and I am addicted. My doctor told me I should cut back and I did but I will NEVER cut it out. I don't do a thing in the morning without some coffee in me weekends included.

    A 20 minute walk into town in the morning. Buy a coffee at Costa and it's the only one I have a day.

    I used to drink a lot of coffee but have cut back and I no longer get so hot.

    Sounds like a trade off me and my hubby used to have, if we had sex he would make me a cup of tea. That was in the halcion years! We've been together a long time now, I make my own decaff now.

    I stopped for one week, and after the first three days of hell I still didn't feel right a week later. So what the hell, I don't smoke, do drugs, or eat anything bad, I might as well have one addiction. :?
