Who do you think Ed and the guys are rooting for in the WS?

We all know ed's love for the cubs so will he stay loyal to th national league? but then again the yanks and angels haven't won a WS in quite some time so they are the challengers while Philly are trying to repeat last year and ed seems like more of an under dog kind of guy...
i know mike's a Seattle fan (at least from the fact he's played the national anthem and thrown out the first pitch for them) so will he stay loyal to the American league?
i know with them playing in Philly they are going to suck up to the Philly fans, but i wonder who they are actually rooting for

Don't it make you smile?
In 2004, at the Boston shows he was talking about Pedro winning his first ring and finishing with three. And low and behold the Sox came back from down 3-0 against the Yankees and made history.

They're friends with Raul. I'll copy what I wrote elsewhere...
Heard Rauuuuuulllllll interviewed on 97.5 with Mikey Miss. Missanelli recalled this past week that Raul said to director of fun and games John Brazier, "Hey, I wanted to know if you get some tickets for some friends of mine for the series. They're in a band, called Pearl Jam." Hahahhahaa, so humble the dude is, and so awesome. Anyway, we're looking at PJ really wooping it up in the City of BrotherLEE Love! Ah man, too much to handle right now. The boys sitting in the crowd rocking Phils hats. Fucking sweet.

But they will be pulling for their boy Rauuulllllll.
Unless the Cubs are playing.

oh yea Philly fans...Ed and Jeff took BP at Shea last year after one of the MSG shows, inquiring minds want to know how you feel about that
How do I feel? It's cool..Shea's gone, and the Mess are somewhere hitting golf balls.
I assume they've done this at multiple parks ... here's Fenway ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN52ibaFmw8
and c'mon, we all know that after the Cubs, Ed's team is the Red Sox ... don't think I've ever seen him rock out with Brian Cashman ...

Republican???? maybe George's personal politics
the team screams of liberalism
Of course, there are exceptions. But do you really deny that the Yankees represent the ideals of conservatives? Unfettered big business, slavish respect for tradition, the never-changing uniforms (as a Yankees hater, this is one thing I actually respect about the Yankees-- no dopey third jerseys), tickets only an investment banker can afford, etc.
Yeah, it screams of liberalism to ban long hair and anything but neatly trimmed mustaches. Come on, man, it's fine if that's what you're into, but the Yankees are the ultimate corporate sports franchise.
What are you going to tell me next, that Duke basketball fans are a bunch of hippies?
SPENDING
Just what I was going to post.
The hair length rule is a total RNC move.
But I will give the Yankees fans their due, a few years back Cheney was at a game and was shown on the big screen and was loudly "BOOOOOOOOOOED"
Edit: I am not against long hair or beards, but if that is what it takes to run a tight ship so be it. I like Ed with his current locks it looks good. The NJ Devils are the same no facial hair until the playoffs.

The Phillies and Angels have their limits. The Yankees are Standard Oil. They are Microsoft. Their 2009 payroll is more than twice that of 22 major-league teams. 2009 payrolls:
Yankees: $201.4 million
Angels: $113.7 million
Phillies: $113.0 million
Anyway, no one spent more freely than the "conservative" George W. Bush. He was left a surplus by the Democrat who preceded him, and handed over a $1.2 trillion deficit and a cratering economy to the Democrat who succeeded him. Two wars, Medicare Part D, TARP, tax cuts for the rich. That's Bush's free-spending legacy.
Although this is a policy that all baseball teams once had, the Yankees are currently the only team with such a policy and have gotten notoriety enforcing it. Many players, most notably Reggie Jackson, Roger Clemens, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Johnny Damon, and Randy Johnson either had long hair, significant facial hair, or both before playing for the Yankees, but were clean-cut by the time they had their press conferences unveiling them as members of the Yankees.
Yankees are keeping it old School with the hair.

I think it's great if that's how they want to run their business. However, allowing grown men to make their own grooming decisions hasn't seemed to inhibit the 7 franchises that have won a World Series this millennium (the Yankees not among them) from doing so. Baseball is not the military. The military has much more reason to encourage conformity and equality.
Anyway, the point was that this policy, whatever its merits, hardly "screams of liberalism."

It's just amazing to see those numbers ... and yeah, the Red Sox were at $121M ... (Mets I think were 2nd with $149M)
The Yankees are just playing on a whole different level than anyone else.
