Which songs do you always skip?

As great as Pearl Jam are, I'm sure that everyone has a few tracks that they think are pretty awful. I've given each in turn it's fair chance but they just don't work for me. Thought it would be interesting to see different opinions. Anyway, here's mine:
Mankind
Gorified G
Hey Foxymop...
Leash
Indifference

Betterman and Daughter never liked either- especially Betterman and a few times at the concerts when the young men sing along I get the feeling they missed the message in that song and are glad she has to settle.

well to be fair, it's not only young men who sing along to Betterman.
and I don't think they sing cause they're missing the message or are glad the woman in the song settles. I know why I sing along - for the joy of singing.
I love hearing an arena full of people singing along to a song, no matter what the lyrics are.
you say women must never settle. this is true. but the same applies to men. equality, eh?

Yes totally and I too love the sing alongs- I think that makes PJ unique and fun- I don't know maybe it was just the guys around me a few times or maybe my perception- it felt kind of creepy almost- especially the "3am look her over thing"- not a fave of mine-eMMI wrote:pandora wrote:Betterman and Daughter never liked either- especially Betterman and a few times at the concerts when the young men sing along I get the feeling they missed the message in that song and are glad she has to settle.

Pry, To
Rival
Black, Red, Yellow
Sweet Lew
Dirt Frank
Bushleaguer"Speak clearly if you speak at all; carve every word before you let it fall"

I never really skip anything with the live shows except the encore breaks. Even if I don't dig the song, I usually like to listen to the show as a whole. The one exception is Sleight of Hand, which they fortunately don't play often.
As for studio songs, I usually skip:
Jeremy
Stupid Mop
Habit
I'm Open
Pilate
Red Dot
MFC
Nothing As It Seems
Rival
Sleight of Hand
Thumbing My Way
Arc
Army Reserve
Hitchhiker
Gremmie Out Of Control
Whale Song
Dead Man Walking
Strangest Tribe
Sweet Lew
Last KissI suggest you step out on your porch...run away my son...see it all...oh see the world // I wait on the porch...hoping someday I'll be let in
