Where do you get your "news"??

Just curious. I know we have plenty of people on here for MSNBC and some for Fox. I'm not talking Op-Ed style guys with big heads spouting off their opinion.

For me, I get my T.V. news from MSNBC and the BBC. My MSNBC viewing ends when Matthews hits the air, but newswise I watch them. For my print news, chicagotribune.com, newyorktimes.com, politifact.org, huffingtonpost.com, cnn.com, foxnews.com, stltoday.com, and pretty much any local website for a story I was interested in diving further into.

    huffingtonpost.com I like.... cnn.com I just watch to see what the uninformed are watching and so I'm not accused of being brain washed buy FOX NEWS, the news station asking questions Obama and his Czars don't want to answer or just can't.

    Why are czars such a big deal now when Bush had more of them? That's the type of biased reporting that just seems to further divide the country.

    As I'm sure you know, logic and sense are not given the most consideration in these cases. Saying "czar" over and over is meant to play word association games with people. Obama appoints "czars", "czar" sounds Russian, thoughts of Russia evoke socialism/communism...you know the rest.

    Now that that is out of the way...where do people get their news?
  • I don't. I stopped watching the news a few years ago. I don't even listen to NPR anymore.

    All I have to do is remember that the headline will always read;

  • Online: Daily, CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, Politico, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette... Those are on my My Yahoo homepage, but I check out probably a half dozen other sites randomly throughout the week (fox, bbc, the hill, factcheck, politifact, etc)...

    TV: I like Morning Joe in the morning, and either CNN or MSNBC during the day... in the evening if I check any network out, it's usually CNN, because they have the least partisan editorial shows. Fox and MSNBC primetime make me want to shove sharp objects in my ears.

    I used to like Hardball, the format of the show and the guests he gets are good... I also like the sort of nuts & bolts of politics that get at about who gets what for what vote and some of the inside baseball stuff, but Chris Matthews needs to freakin' shut up a lot of times.

    I agree 100%. I like Matthews because he "gets" Washington. He knows what it takes for someone to get something done. Saying that, I think he's fucking annoying.

  • I read raw wire copy from the Associated Press for national news and the websites for a couple local papers for other stuff. I also read the blog of a former crime reporter I used to work with who now works as a bail bondsman.

    Rss feeds of CNN and local sources through Google Reader.

    I leave HNN on the TV while I get ready in the morning.

    No other TV news or newspapers for me.

    International news and HuffPost. I used to like NPR, but they're appearing to be very biased lately, much to my dismay.
