August 1, 2005
Ah... well, that would have made sense for MSG. I believe by August they had already released their hold on the arena, and had shifted their hold to May 30th and 31st (or 5/31 and 6/1) which they ended up doing Storytellers instead. The intent for their MSG hold possibly being linked to BBF is strictly my speculation.ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

Back a few years ago the mods started a thread on the Pit saying that Ten Club members were going to get something "big, bold, and free" and to stay tuned ...InMyTree4 wrote:i dont know what anyone is talking about! helppp
Some weeks (days?) later, the thread mysteriously disappeared and nothing ever came of it...
I still remember why it was first posted. The board was an ugly place with everyone ripping the ten club left and right after the Borgata and Wachovia 05 ticket sale debacles.
I think at one point the first two pages of the board were filled with nothing but anti ten club rants. The Canadian tour was the first group of shows to be sold via ten club. But then they sold Wachovia only through the ten club site and the servers (much like today - though it's gotten better) couldn't handle the demand and the bitch fest ensued. Also, it was the first show they sold that they didn't have unlimited ten club tix to like in prior tours so many, many people were shut out.
Ah,this thread brings back memories ... lol.- Busted down the pretext

not big at all. a couple of hundred at the most. ...bold? I'd say PBS's ACL or Letterman tapings were much more bold than Storytellers.ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

It was my understanding that the "big, bold, and free" thing that never materialized was something that all Ten Club members would have benefitted from. For example, a free show or two would not have been it."I'll end up alone like I began..."

Ummm, how was something broadcasted on VH1, for 10c members only? :?UnthoughtKnown wrote:wasn't that VH1 storytellers thing for 10c members only? wasn't it free? i think it was certainly bold?
No, that wasn't it.0 -

It was a free thing. But not for 10c members only.dustinpardue wrote:I thought the free download of World Wide Suicide was the free thing0 -
Well, then again, that clearly wasn't for all 10c members.Wilds wrote:aNiMaL wrote:

Safe to say to everyone trying to guess at something they "think" was it already....it actually never happened. Nothing that has been suggested as a "was it this" suggestion fits the bill. It never happened...whatever it was.0
