there'll be enough dumb jocks at the concert to cover the whole sports thing. they'll be the ones being aggressive, ruining it for the people around them, screaming out for the band to play popular songs that they know even after the band have played them.

Am getting v concerned about little ol' delicate me in the Fixer Field- anyone big and burly going to be at Brisbane who wants to shove all the 'roid ragers and 17 years away for me? Otherwise, come join me dancing at the back!

you'll be alright so long as you get into the front row.. once you're locked in there you're sweet as a nut. got plenty of none moving things to grab hold of. i really wanna be in the front row for this reason. even being one row back is tough.

you should be right at the front, it will mainly be fellow ten clubers, but there will always be the odd dickhead or 50 pushing their way to the front.

i also know there are a few of us who aren't keen to be standing against the barriers pushing and shoving for 4 hours plus so there wil also be a group of ten clubers, standing back a bit out of all the action.

yeah but then you've also got that none moving thing to be pushed up against, and that hurts.

still the worries with front row??? i dont get it? i never have a problem with up the front - its the same as driving, just dont hesitate, act like your meant to be there, and dont let the dickheads cut it .... alls fine 8-)

really tho - as much as i like the space you get with the seated floor - im liking the chance to be right up front, whichever side i choose, and next to people i like :)
    impatience is a gift ........
  • The front/Fixer field will be fine and dandy considering there should be very few roid monsters that have had the idea to be Tenclub members. The immovable object at the front will be our friend not a painfull barrier we are being squashed against.

pardon me Threefishwhatever but are you now thinking of attending?? Over your PJ yawn?

i've only ever been hurt by the barrier once and that was my own fault for having something jabby in my pocket. and no way is the crowd gonna be as violent as they used to be (hope hope hope).

no! i lie! at a tim finn/betchadupa gig at uni orientation i had dumb jock man behind me pushing and he made my elbow bleed - but he got an elbow to the gut for his troubles.

oh yea, well of course weve all been stood on or booted in the head as someone sails overhead, and a few bruises here & there - but nothing bad - and if someone starts acting like a tool i waste no time telling him (or her) to fuck off and if i have to ill deliver a pretty hefty shove if it keeps going.

i had thongs on at sound relief in melbourne - 2nd row, and fine
.... i plan on sharing that wine with mr vedder, and i dont plan on getting it after the masses, so ill be in a very happy place for 4 nights this year

i don't know what you mean, but yes i have decided to go, although my opinions on venue choice, ten club ticket price, and other things haven't changed, but it's still pearl jam so i'll be there. and it's threefish10, it's not that hard really.

[sarcasm]Glenn you know you cant have an opinion that differs from the masses, HOW DARE YOU come on here and say you are unhappy with venue choice, 10C ticket price etc!! [/sarcasm]

Seriously HailHailwhatever, it's an opinion, so if it doesnt agree with yours, get over it.

Force of Nature is the most boring album filler PJ has put out since 1/2 Full. I'm sure both ATW and Unthought Known will give the lighter holders sore thumbs. I'm gonna assume Brendan O'Brien was responsible for letting some of these ideas through. The lyrics almost save the three of them.
Funny how you can have a negative opinion about a Pearl Jam song but someone else cant have a negative opinion about the 'back room operations' of Pearl Jam. Double standards at its finest.
