FUCK! I typed up my passport application online, printed it, my mate came into my work today and signed it etc etc but he forgot his passport number....so he rings me up with the number, I write it in the little boxes, stand up to grab my bag to go lodge it at the post office and realise YOU CAN ONLY USE BLACK FUCKING PEN! And I wrote that one number in BLUE FUCKING PEN!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! :x Looks like I'll be lodging it tomorrow now!

My mum's doctor told her that if I'm going to NZ, it is very advisable I get the swine flu vaccination before I go. Should I or shouldn't I? Who knows a lot about this sort of shit? Zenith?

i haven't caught the swine flu and i live here!
  • You've got a higher chance of catching herpes standing next to someone from Christchurch than you have getting swine flu....

frontline health workers started getting it in the past fortnight - i said no thankyou ... i dont get the regular flu shot, and i wont be getting this

half the population has prob already had swine flu and just doesnt realise it. For the general mob its like a hard core case of the flu - so unless youve got a high risk pregnancy, a chronic illness or immune deficiency, or are old & feeble in general - dont bother.
the argument with heath workers is, besides being exposed to things, we also have the potential to spread things to sick people. plus it'll be included in the regular round of flu shots next year

ironically - i actually have a chronic autoimmune illness (graves desease) but i hardly ever get sick ..... my specialist says im 'special' aaawwwwwwww 8-)

if you have any suggestion I am open to checking them out as I dont listen to the radio so its hard to find new bands to listen too. as for what I have listened to lately has mostly been pearl jam, slayer, megadeath, raised fist, tool, godsmack, black sabath and metalica.

ha, i don't think there are many aussie bands that will fit what you are listening to. Karnivool are cool, birds of tokyo, butterfly effect are just a few you might like just going off the list above.

was it you i had the convo with and i warned you ... or donjon???? also, squeeze your siggie into that little bitty box - anything over the lines and they'll knock it back on that too. plus my birth certificate had a tiny folding hole in it - so i had to get a new one, plus the first foto was slightly off centre .... its a bit strict, but once youve got it, you've got it

I've got shit loads of Ben but only Liam's studio so any live Liam would be cool. Hope you enjoy. If you want any more let me know. It's no problem. It's good to share.

awesome - where are you seeing them, in darwin? i gotta get me to some more non-pj gigs soon, i've totally fallen off the live music scene hey. acoustic would be sweet as. i haven't listened to mammal much - smash the pinata sounds awesome once it gets past the spoken word bit at the beginning - my ears still find our beloved aussie accent a bit harsh sometimes, they (my ears, not the band) just require more training i guess :) very powerful beyond that - like the blindfolds too!

i call Birds of Tokyo, Kanivool Lite. they are a more radio friendly version of karnivool in my opinion.

sweet matey - thanks for the heads up! i'll check out the majority first. it's weird - i hear a lot about them but have never gotten around to actually actively listening. i def need some new music in my life - it's been ages since i got that high of discovering a new band to love. the last one (and i'm referring to love not like) was early incubus and god knows how long ago that was! i sometimes wonder if i'm beyond really falling for bands after giving so much of my musical heart to PJ, soundgarden, incubus, foo fighters, red hot chilli peppers, live, radiohead, muse and queens of the stone age. seems weird that most of those bands have gone to shit now too!
