Backspacer CD WTF!
So I bought the new CD, put in my computer to listen while I'm doing a little work and all the songs listed on the CD are from the Avocado CD, WTH is going on here, why all the tracks listed are not from Backspacer, has anyone else had this problem??? :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

i know if you dont have itunes then your media player most likely wont find the info for backspacer cause its an independent release. maybe?0

ok ya my friend had the same problem with the avocado info coming up. I put the info in myself when i downloaded it. We both have zune softwear so i think that is why0

The CD doesn't have any of that information stored on it. Whatever program you are using to listen to it has looked it up incorrectly. I got the same think too. If you're using Window's Media Player, just copy all the files & right click & update tag's.0

I know iTunes get's the song and album info from CDDB (CD Database) or http://www.gracenote.com/. I'm not sure where Windows Media Player gets it's info but I believe this is an issue with that. There's a unique code that the program reads and then checks with CDDB to tell it what the tracks and album are called. For some reason, the CDDB thinks, or someone uploaded the information for Avacado and not Backspacer. This issue is easily remedied by simply manually entering the information. Once this is done the first time, it should come up that way each additional time. I hope this helps and maybe an email to Gracenote's website might get this problem fixed.
