I dare anyone to tell me this wasn't the best show they've been to. Came out from North Carolina for this show and it couldn't have been better. GREAT setlist! Eddie was in rare form and GREAT vibes going on between band and audience!
I've been to 7 PJ shows now amongs many, many other concerts and can honestly say this is the best I've ever been to of anyone! It turned out to be the best birthday present I could have gotten!0 -
Has anyone mentioned - besides ed's tight jeans... the girls who were trying to sell Creed and Staind tickets outside the E-Centre? Yeah, I got approached twice! "Excuse me - are you a fan of CREED?" At first I didn't know what she was saying..."not your thing?" she asked. And then I laughed - you're talking about creed at a Pearl Jam concert?! Be careful!!be philanthropic0

I caught the 6:45 red eye back to Vegas and drug my ass into work. As you can tell, I'm back to my usual productive self........posting!!!
The roof of the Puck was an awesome place for the pre-party. Drinking beer in 85 degrees with a mountain view. Thanks for the beers, Ron!!
What a show! A guy next to me, at his second PJ show, proclaimed it "the sickest rock show" he had ever seen/heard. Yes it was damn good. Of the Girl, Severed Hand, Immortality, Satan's Bed and Red Mosquito were all firsts for me. Five in one show? Not bad! I loved hearing Blood, too....I last heard it in 1993  . As I feared, the E Center was maybe only 75% full (if that). No worries, though....the band didn't seem to mind. There is just nothing else like a Pearl Jam show!!!!
For my four shows, I was hoping for Present Tense, Inside Job, Porch and Red Mosquito. I got those but still need (in a bad way!) SOLAT, Breath and I Got Shit. Hear that, Ed? October 7 in LA......I'll be waiting!
P.S. a little birdie told me Leash was done in the soundcheck. Can anyone confirm this? Of course, I was pretty bummed when they didn't play it.If I had known then what I know now...

Shouldn't it be Just Breathe(Fan brought on stage for wedding proposal) Sea?
It probably should have been 'The End.'0 -
Great show. This is only the fifth time seein the band but my first time in Utah (and I live here). I loved the set list and the energy but I am a little bit ashamed to be a native utahn. I screwed up and didn't have ten club tickets adn the people around us were sitting down and looking like emo-loving idiots throughout the show. I missed the true fans. Again, great performance and as a utahn I apologize for my state.0

What an amazing show! My brothers and I have all seen PJ on our own, but never together and last night...well, we were finally together in our home town to see Pearl Jam! Sadly the E Center did not fill up, but the crowd knew what to do and we gave 'em hell.
Was stoked that Ed let us have the last verse of Evenflow. I had that lucky experience in SF at the Bill Graham 3 years ago and felt like we were all lifted off the ground. I felt the same last night. Thanks you guys for coming back to SLC and giving us the chance to feel your spirit. Your music plays a huge role in our lives and it means even more to us to have you in our town! We won't forget it!

Wow, sick setlist, very jealous. They played stuff from every album but Riot Act (no love ?).0

Last night was unreal! It was a treat to hear I believe in miracles followed by leash while waiting in line to pick up tickets. 7th row Mike's side!! Thank you Ten Club. Sat by some awesome people (thanks for rockin' out with me Sandra). I wish it would have sold out, but the crowd was really into it and the band seemed to be appreciative of the audience interaction. Ben Harper on Red Mosquito was worth the price of admission alone. It was sooo good to see the boys back in SLC, yes I believe in miracles, and tonight was an incredible miracle. Thanks again PJ and I'll see you in San Diego.0

Yep. They should've come to Boise instead. At least we can sell out a concert!Ed...buddy...pal...stay true to your word and play Boise again.

When I bought my tickets the very second they were availible I felt I had a chance for a miracle.....and it happened!!! FRONT ROW SEATS!!!!!!! Thank you TenClub!!!!!! Last two seats on the left, right in front of Mike. Greatest show I've ever been to and what made it so sweet was that I got to see them this way for the first time in my home town. Thanks for coming back to Utah PJ!!! The highlights of the night for me were many but my favorites were the ones that rocked my frickin' world like Breakerfall, Hail Hail, Got Some, Do The Evolution, Supersonic, STBC, and Alive. Also got to hear Amongst the Waves, which is my favorite off the new album. But the absolute best of the night was Satan's Bed with Ed nailing the sometimes hard to remember lyrics along with his dancing and acting during the song. So frickin' SWEEEEEEEEEET!!! An awe-inspiring night from the Greatest American Rock Band..... Ever. thank you. zPost edited by Poonzz1 onz

Incredible show! Hands down the best of the eight PJ shows I've seen over the years. Had 8th row (thanks 10C) and everyone around was us was rocking out...hard. The boys are at the top of their game right now. Was lucky enough to get some very nice close up pics - if I can figure out how to post them...
Hat tip to Mr. Rosewater for organizing a great pre-party fundraiser (we love the hoodie!)
I have to agree with Ben Harper: Greatest American Rock Band, period.Like echoes, nobody hears0 -
Last night was awesome! Had a great time walking around, going to the Puck. Very cool. I wish I could remember peoples names that I met, but I know Nate was one, Grayson, Ron... after that I'm kinda drawing a blank. But everyone was cool, which is one of my favorite parts of going to see Pearl Jam. Had amazing seats! Thanks TenClub! It was also fun cause back in my hometown I'm in a band, and for the first time my entire band was able to make it to the same show! Great setlist, got to hear 7 songs I've never heard live before. Great poster, and hopefully the shirts will remain great. I'm hoping they don't shrink like my 06 shirts did. Anyways, thanks everyone for being cool and making a great day!
cheers!0 -
unfortunately i didn't make it to The Puck, I wish I could have met all the people I was PMing, but I kinda had to go where my ride took me :P That setlist was off the fucking hook. Opening with TWO binaural tracks? that was awesome. The (live) rarities were just phenomenal...Bee Girl AND Satan's Bed AND Blood... not to mention Red Mosquito, Hail, Hail, IMMORTALITY!...
Was it just me, or when Ben Harper started his set, did anybody else think they were about to bust into In My Tree???????????????keep on rockin' in the free world.0
