Just got home from the show!!! I have to say that was by far the best show I've ever been to. Eddie was on steroids tonight! I'd never seen him so energetic. I could have sworn it was 1992 all over again. Mike ran laps around the stage during "Spin the Black Circle". I'm sure its already been talked about but Eddie invited a couple up on stage and the guy proposed. Anyway the setlist was great. YOU'D BE CRAZY NOT TO BUY THIS BOOT!!! Epic!!! Simply epic. Thanks to Pearl Jam for coming back!!!! Greatest band alive!!!!!!

Fun show. Lots of rarities, it seemed to me. We were in front of McCready for the first time. The dude is a blast to watch, having fun like "I can't believe I get to do these rock star moves and get paid for it." Crazy Mary and Alive were epic!

Only bummer: I couldn't believe the whole back of the area above the floor were unsold. No more than 8,000 in attendance.

Of the Girl - my must hear live song! If I heard it live I'd flip my lid, roll on Australia! I really like this setlist, another boot to purchase. Must have been a great show, I remember seeing Mike doing a couple of laps during a show once and it's really entertaining.
  • The show was SUPERB! The poster kicks-ass! I will always be entertained watching PJ but, they really went beyond the call of duty this evening! It was truly historical! I'm so emarassed that the venu wasn't packed to the rafters but... No matter!-the band was driven, and totally delivered! Thanks boys! It was nice to not have to get my ass to a different state on my awesome teacher's salary!!! You did me a solid! Hope you have an enriching tour! Hugs!

  • That show was amazing!!! I'm so glad we made the drive from Victoria, BC to be in SLC for this incredible incredible show! 10 Club gave me some terrific seats and OMG! I won't stop thinking about this show for a long time!

The song selection, Mike running around, Boom working his organ, Stone doing his thing (he was smiling throughout the show), Matt staying strong and stable -- and Ed...his slim fit jeans, his gorgeous voice, his genuineness, and calling out a security guard right at the end of the show and then warning everyone to take it easy cuz they were almost done...gosh! It was all so darned GOOD!

I love this band - I love the opportunities to travel because of them (have never been to UTAH before) - I love the people I meet and the friends I've made and will continue to make because of them!

Just great! I feel so privileged to be a fan of this wonderful band!

Shouldn't it be Just Breathe(Fan brought on stage for wedding proposal) Sea? ;)

Amazing show. Had great seats on the wings even w/ Front row. So many songs that I've waited a long time to hear. Of the Girl and Immortality!!!!

Venue wasn't packed but it was load and the show had a great vibe. Amazing setlists the boys have been throwing together. It is a tour for everybody. Alas this is my last show of the mini tour. Thanks for Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake Shitty!

Back to reality now. Hope eveyone enjoys the rest of the tour.
    NERDS!
  • Fabulous show. Some songs I never expected to hear. The onstage wedding proposal by a fellow whose letter obviously made an impression on Ed and the band was quite remarkable. Ed serenaded them with "Just Breathe." *Thank you* Ten Club for being incredible, as always. Been a fan club member since '94 and you guys GET IT. Also thanks to Ten Club's Forum I was able to share my spare ticket with a great guy whom I had never met. This was a spectacular performance and the boot should be a must-get. There were some very young boys in row one with their parents, and the band went out of their way to give them goodies. What an experience for those little guys!

  • WOW! First off, thank you ten club! Sec FAA Row 1 seat 11&12, right in front of Stone... Wow!!! Lottery win!

The little groms Ed was giving gifts to all night were so cool. They were in our seats when we went down before Ben. Turns out their seats were a little better... They moved down to the center of the of the row after Ben finished.

Hands down, THE best of the 11 shows I had been to previous. The band is on fire right now!!! Of A Girl as an opener... Sweet, 1st time for me, then Breakerfall, another 1st(2 track off Binaural to start the show?!?!?!?!) LOW LIGHT!!!! Another 1st!!! Been waiting 11 years to see it live, they nailed it!!! Immortality, sounded just as good as it did 11 years ago in Missoula. Satans Bed was a total suprise. Blood was amazing to end the main set.

1st Encore. Bee Girl, was awesome to watch Ed singing right to the little ones in the front. The proposal was really sweet. Congrats to the happy couple. Red Mosquito with Ben was... words can't decribe it... I'm still in awe... Daughter was great, Supersonic, rocked my face off. STBC, Mike and Jeff chasing eachother was great, Mike running around the stage was hillarious.

2nd encore, I Believe in Miracles... nice, 1st time full band for me. Crazy Mary, love the way Mike and Boom 'battle' on this one. Eddie handed his Corona to the guy beside me!!! Well, he passed it my way. Took a drink, and 'passed it down'. Alive, the place was rockin'. YL to close, perfect way to end a perfect PJ show!!!

An incredible night. Crowd was small, but LOUD.

Thank You Jeff, Matt, Stone, Mike, Ed, and Boom. A night that will not soon be forgotten.

Its a little after 2 in the morning, and still just amazed.

What do you call goosebumps that will not go away? I have them. First note or two... Of The Girl!!!

Words cannot explain that emotion hearing that song and reflecting on my family at the moment it opens the show. Wow.

I have to get to work in 3 1/2 hours, so I have to catch a nap.

    Peace and Love

and most of all thanks to the greatest band on earth.

Just got home. Amazing show. If I had to pick an opener and second song it would have been those exact two! From that moment on I was beaming for the rest of the show! Not much else I can say besides that which has already been said. Nice to be noticed and meet those two young ladies at the will call line, I kind of felt like a 10C celebrity for a second (they might chime in, haha).

All in all, an amazing night and Pearl Jam was on FIRE. A friend of mine was wearing a Cubs hoodie and Eddie saw it and handed him a setlist. Only two songs left unplayed were "I'm Open" and "Betterman"

Thank you Pearl Jam and thank you Ten Club!

    what did she say?

-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
  • I am aware that this thread is for FANVIEWS only,
so please excuse my desire ;) ...

but this is too good for a setlist! Too many of my fave songs were played last night,
so there is this urgent emotion to just scream out my hipp hipp hurra - viva Pearl Jam !!!
and thanks already so much for the bootleg (my life in music is saved :P )

    oh my,
my Breakerfall, so good ones of the new album were played as well and above all Severed hand and Marker in the Sand (so good that avocado is back and played again....)

Cheers to all the lucky ones that could attend this great show.

yfantasic show! I am very pleased that I was able to catch this show while on a business trip. a HUGE thank you to the ten clubber with the extra ticket that sold it to me....fourth row in front of Stone!

better setlist than the two chicago shows (which were great). supersonic sounded much tighter this time for me. red mosquito was outstanding....should have known it was coming after seeing the poster! I last saw them open a show with "Of the girl" nine years ago and its still my favorite opener......now I just gotta get "Wash" to complete my list of desired openers.

what a treat to get Bee Girl. after 14 shows I still got several "first timers" tonight!

    Was Lowlight great or what???

    now for the downside......

I'd like to thank "drunk guy A" for throwing a haymaker at "drunk guy B" after you bull rushed the aisle during YL. The lovely young ladies sitting in that aisle must have enjoyed the experience of you piling into the row to exact whatever revenge you felt was necessary. at least they both on the petite side and were able to enjoy the rush of brawl coming their way. I don't know what started the fight and if their was a legitimate justification for the fight.....but you made all of us 10Clubbers look bad with your selfish act. you'd be better served waiting for the victim of your future assault outside where the "problem" could be resolved where it only involves the two of you.

other than the 3 minutes of chaos, this was a great evening of music! and I hope to find a ticket for la 1!
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

  • I'm still a jittery mess!

First off, a HUGE thank you to the Ten Club! Front Row - Stone's side, seats 7-8 (just a couple down from NoCode_inMT). Second, a BIG thank you to BOOOOOOOOM! for a copy of the setlist (We almost had Brother, I'm Open, and Betterman).

I'm not very articulate, so I won't have anything of value to what's already been said. The closest I get is HO..LY...SHIT! Did that just happen? **nods head** Yup, that just happened! Incredible night, amazing setlist!
Only bummer for me was not getting there earlier and being able to spend more time getting to know the other members from this board. Those of you whom I did get to meet and interact a bit with were great (NoCode_inMT and your friend...sorry I didn't catch his name...hope you guys have a safe trip back to MT)!

Now I gotta see if I can drag this jittery mess to work!
