Spectrum Help

Is the airport far from the Spectrum or did I enter the wrong address info??

If it is that far does anyone know about the transportation from there(if you don't rent a car)

    not far at all. The Spectrum is about 10 minutes north from the philly airport by car, right up 95.

    you can take a cab or there's a subway train that goes from the airport to South Philly and the Spectrum i believe.

    The airport driving is Appx 3 miles from the Spectrum. There is public transportation from one to the other.

    Is everyone staying at hotels by the Spectrum? I can only pull up two hotels near it.

    don't stay near the airport or stadium complex...those are barren areas with nothing to do. Stay in Center City and enjoy the great city of philadelphia

    You can catch a train to center city by taking the R1 regional rail from the airport. Your best bet is to book a hotel in center city, look for hotels near suburban station as the subaway and regional rail both stop here making it an easy trip. The subway is the orange line (Broad Street Line) which you take south bound to the last stop. Spectrum is 20 steps away. PM me if you need anymore specific info.

    yeah we are staying at the nicer of the 2 hotels closer to venue- we dont need to do anything else in philly except see Pearl Jam

    bad move...you'll be sorry. there is nothing in that area...

    not trying to be a dick...just recommending staying elsewhere. Not looking forward to all of the bitching about how much philly sucks from the people that stay in the airport/stadium hotels.

    yup... i'm in for thurs, fri, and sat @ $60 per night
