I still think they will forge a friendship with Metallica after The Roo. Look out for some covers from the Black album this summer.

Eddie would sound amazing doing a rendition of U2's "Running to stand still"

Here's our beloved ;) Scott Stap version to give a little idea

Tori Amos's version is a killer though:

"Running to stand still" is one of my all time favorites -awesome song! I agree, Eddie would sound awesome singing this.

Jeez, you people are so boring. Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones....The Beatles???

    Dry is as dry does.

I'm looking to hear Madonna's "Four Minutes" or The Cult's "Firewoman" or Otis Redding's "Hard To Handle" or anything to add some punch to the standard rock and roll show.

    You think I'm kidding? Not!

I would absolutely adore a cover of Otis Redding's "Thats how strong my love is" Because it is EXACTLY how i feel about the band :D

If I was the sun way up there
I'd go with love most everywhere
I'll be the moon when the sun goes down
Just to let you know that I'm still around

That's how strong my love is, oh
That's how strong my love is,
That's how strong my love is, baby, baby,
That's how strong my love is.

I'll be the weeping willow drowning in my tears
You can go swimming when you're here
I'll be the rainbow when the sun is gone
Wrap you in my colors and keep you warm

That's how strong my love is, darling,
That's how strong my love is, baby,
That's how strong my love is, oooh,
That's how strong my love is.

I'll be the ocean so deep and wide
I'll get out the tears whenever you cry,
I'll be the breeze after the storm is gone
To dry your eyes and love you warm

That's how strong my love is, baby,
That's how strong my love is,
That's how strong my love is, darling,
That's how strong my love is,

I was just listening to WHO: LIVE AT LEEDS and imagining Eddie singing YOUNG MAN BLUES ... what an ass kicking song! I think Ed could definitely do it justice. And I'm sure Mike could wail on Pete's solo too!!
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!
