Official Petition for bootlegs from the "Yield" Tour

I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, but I really would like to see the band release some of the shows from their tour for the "Yield" album in 1998.

I don't have any particular shows in mind, but after listening to "Live on Two Legs" the other day, I just feel like it's only a part of the picture. Meaning that, we only have a snapshot of the whole experience. I think alot of fans would be very responsive to this. I really enjoyed the show they had online for Nov. 1993 in Las Vegas for the "Vs." tour a few years back. Show your support and keep replying to keep this topic going! Suggest certain shows that you were at, ones that have an awesome set list, or shows you missed.

I'll nominate one show that looks good:

"All Those Yesterdays" as part of the main set seals the deal for me.

That was my second show and it was awsome. 8-) I was at the show in East Lansing the week before and after that show and had to beg my uncle to get me tix, he's in sales and got all kinds of tix for all different shows. All I can find is a pretty choppy bootleg of this show and I would love to get my hands on a official release.

  • There is a site that you can download old shows from. I can't remember what it's called. I have a couple shows from the Yield tour, and they do sound quite good. I would definitely love some official boots though.

Hartford 1998 should be released as an official live album.
  • I want official boots from every tour.... there are shows that have not surfaced amongst tapers from pretty much every tour from before 2000... I actually started to make an online petition but didn't finish it b/c I thought it wouldn't go over well here... but if we can get enough signatures maybe they'd consider it. lol.

that was my first Pearl Jam concert in Hartford Conn. Thats where Ed said the wont ever be back to Hartford it was a short show and because of the 96 show security was so tight it was like church in there but i still want the 98 boots

did they do any kind of professional recordings of all these shows? I'm not sure they did seeing as this was before the bootleg program. My first PJ show was Albuquerque NM 98, which I have but it's shit quality so I'd kill for a soundboard recording of this!

I remember talking to their sound guy at the time. He mentioned that they recorded every show on DAT tapes.
I wish I was the 10Club holiday single, the one that never showed up...

They've professionally recorded virtually every show from around 1992 onwards, as far as I know. Brett Eliason spoke about in an interview once.

How else did you think they made "Live On Two Legs"?

hmmm...I thought there was just a select group of shows from that tour that were recorded. If there are in fact professional quality recordings of all these shows they've never seen the light of day and that seems strange

Yes it should! I was only 7 at the time, but my cousin was there and I've heard the boot and it needs to be an official live album.
