Caved In: Tsunami Relief Benny LP #149 Up For Sale

Yes, it’s for a selfish reason… getting our bank account back up above zero and I have to sell something – unfortunately my Benny LP – to do this so that way when my hubby’s unemployment check comes in next week, the bank wouldn’t take his check to cover for the severely over-withdrawn balance and we wouldn’t be able to avoid the water shut off scheduled for this Monday.

I’ve tried everything else to avoid this and there’s no way I can borrow money when I know I can’t pay back. I really don't want to do this, but I just don't have any alternative to avoid this.

If you need proof, I will send it to you privately because I know how people can be skeptical (me, included) of the true reason why people are selling PJ items that the band stands against for, and it is very un-pj of me to do this for selfish reasons.

I apologize ahead for those who wouldn’t have a fair opportunity of purchasing this at a fair and right price - $40 dollars. I don’t care what people say about the increased value of this rare LP over the years. That isn’t my concern and I know what I am doing is wrong, period.

Sorry, but I really need the money right now.

And you have every right to report me to 10c, I’m okay with that…really. It’s the right thing to do. :P

    I don't see anything wrong with what you are doing. Even people who might think you are being hypocritical have no leg to stand on. Why?

    Cause you are selling it for what you paid. No reason you should take a loss on it.

    That's not true - its one thing to ask for hundreds when you paid $40. But those Tsunami auctions went for a lot more. Nothing wrong for asking for that at all I don't tihnk.

    drsluggo - yes true...but people decided to bid on their own...there were various amounts paid for each LPs put up on auction by 10c.

    Still unfair, though.... in my world, it is.

    But I truly truly truly appreciate the help and really hope it doesn't burn the pockets. :?

    Wilds agreed to purchase the Benny LP for $525, what I paid for when I bid on 10c's auction.

    I feel bad for Tip... so sorry!

    $525??? my god this thing is expensive!

    my mom scored one of these for me for the original $45 on tenc when the were released... and she was on dial up
