Well I know some of you here will hate me for this. But I had the extreme pleasure of sitting front row both nights!!!! We won the lottery night one and sat directly in front of Mike. Fucking amazing!!! On night two my friend Heath who is in a wheel chair was able to get front row on Stones side and I will be forever gratefull to him for bringing me up there with him. Heath was the one who gave the scrapbook to Eddie during porch and in return recieved the tamborine from Ediie. A truly surreal experience. Two very amazing nights. We met some fantastic people at the pre parties and look forward seeing you again in Portland. Hopefully we can get Heaths Tamborine signed for him. He deserves it.(that book was heavy :) )

For me this was a VERY interesting show. I absolutely loved nite 1, but nite 2 was a "gift for the off-beat". No Alive or Evenflow!?!? I obviously love those songs but the novelty of being at a show where neither was played was pretty cool. No Way, In My Tree, and Supersonic(s) added to the "mystique" and "specialness" of the evening. Met up with the same crazies as nite 1 waiting for the Keyarena doors to open for the mad dash to the posters!! All this and Seattle as the back drop!! Thanks to Laura, Janet, Lisa and everyone at the preparties!!

100% better than night #1...turned it up a few notches! Real headbanging music...Highlights...Lukin, Comotose and Porch were off the hook! I was concerned after night #1, but this made up for it..Im not sure why DTE was repeated, weird. Really not feeling the new stuff either..too "poppy" although I do love Just Breathe so far..Give me a week to digest the new stuff though, then I should have a better
I had GREAT seats!!! section 128 row #1...
For a while I thought they werent going to repeat any non-Backspacer songs. But like you said, they did repeat DTE. They actually repeated The Real Me as well. That said, it didnt matter, the night was fucking AMAZING!!!!!

Seattle was beautiful. I sat all the way at the top first level on the first night and front row of of the first level second night. From what I could see and hear on both nights the crowd was really into it and having a good time.
The "Alcohol Enforcement team" were hilarious, with the look of hope on their faces that they would catch someone. This poor guy behind us no sooner lit one up and they immediately came over and pulled him from his seat. I thought everything was ok caus he came back to his seat but unfortunately it was only to get his girlfriend. They got kicked out. Same thing happened to two guys in our section on night one.
The shows were amazing. I'm so glad they played Just Breathe and The End both nights. Mike's solo at the end of Ledbetter was the best I've ever seen. It amazes me how much he can jump around and still play so great. Eddie's voice was just beautiful and his guitar playing was too. It looked like they were all having a really good time up there. I think this new album is gonna be one of my favorites.

Unthought Known was brilliant. Love that guitar you were playin Eddie

They got kicked out just for having a beer at their seats? WOW, that sucks big time. You figure they would at least give you a warning, well maybe they did get caught more than once, who knows.

It wasn't beer. I was at my seat from Ben Harper all the way thru. It was the first time they got caught.

  • Thank you PJ & thank you Ten club!
An amazing show, 3rd row in front of Mike.
1st 3 songs completely disembowled by matt's Kick drum and then absolutely blown away the rest of the night by Mike's playing and energy.
The band was in exceptional form & the crowd was completely into it... a night to remember, could not have been better.

Really? Not me. I enjoyed the outdoor beer garden in between Ben Harper and Pearl Jam's set both nights. Had plenty of time to have a beer and a smoke or two, and still get back to our seats without missing anything.

Anyone else out in the beer garden by section 121 between sets?

Was in the pseudo-beer garden by 114 the first night. Didn't know there was an outdoor one.
    NERDS!
  • It was a great setlist, especially in THIS economy.
  • 1st show ever ~ and from what I'm hearing I've seen a particularly great one. 27 somethingish songs. Thank you Pearl Jam. Still glowing. More please.
  • What a great setlist. Did they play the full version of "No Way" or just a part of it?

  • Well....I received a tambourine after I gave Ed the scrapbook... as always another killer show... what a set-list! It was really awesome to meet all of you die-hard fans from all over... looking for Bill and Mary from Hawaii... think they are going to Portland / Vancouver show. I will be there.. also looking for 10C tickets for the show in Portland.

    The good:
    - Wow!!! What a setlist! So much better than night 1!
    - Band's energy
    - No Way!!! 11 years since, wow, and they nailed it!
    - Supersonic w/ lyrics just for Seattle, although I only understood a little of it, looking forward to the bootleg to hear them better.
    - Present Tense, In My Tree, and Faithful (3 of my favorite 5 songs in 1 night! (0 the night before)
    - Go, STBC, Comatose - tonight just semmed to ROCK more than last night
    - I only remember one small lyric flub, there were lots on night 1 - Ed probably realized how many flubs he did night 1 and was much more prepared

    The bad:
    - Repeating Just Breathe, The End, and The Real Me since they had the extra musicians here in Seattle for them... understandable and all 3 were awesome, just a slight negative to the night since we always hope they don't repeat any songs :-)
    - The crowd sdfghjdfghjdfgh... ok, so I was in section 106, row 11 to be exact, worst seats I've ever had in my 23 shows, but I try not to let that bother me, I was going nuts throughout... but I guess I need to come to expect that the crowd around me will suck when I'm not in the 1st 20 rows. For example, two women in front of us were sitting down for at least half the show and texting all the time, they left after the 1st encore too. About 40 - 50 people in front of us sat down during Insignificance!!! and didn't get back up until Black. Unbelievable! Lots of people behind us were yelling shit during Just Breathe and The End b/c the band was playing slower songs. I quote one loud yell from behind at the start of The End, "This sucks. They played this same shitty song last night." They were several rows behind me and a ways over, but I could hear them talking, most talking shit, all through both songs. Very frustrating. Also, I seemed to be the only one in the area singing at all (except during the obvious crowd sing alongs).
    - Ed seemed to acknowledge the disappointing crowd a little. He tried a call and response during Not For You, and when he didn't get much of a response, he gave up immediately. I believe he also acknowedged that the crowd wasn't much into the slow songs when after The End, he said something like, I know u guys want something faster, but u.r out of luck as they went into Black. He was joking with us, but I expect he was pretty disappointed too.

    Overall:
    - Loved the show, the band was amazing as always, the setlist was one of the best at any show I've been to, and I had an awesome time as did my g/f at her 2nd show. However, and she feels stronger about this than me, the energy from the crowd was rather weak for a PJ show.

    You make some good points
