These meet-ups/fundraisers are truly the coolest, most organic thing to ever come together because of our love for the music.
I really think the Hartford fundraiser raised the most because so many of us were following the band and were stuck in Hartford with nothing else to do. Please don't take this as a negative statement. I think it's more of an indictment about how many fans were following the band up the east coast. It's easy to find stuff to do in Washington, Philly, New York, and Boston. But Hartford? It only felt comfortable when I was around my fellow Jammers'I'm like an opening band for the sun'0 -
Almost $38,000? - that is absolutely incredible!
Well done to everyone at involved at Wishlist and Laura in particular - you guys do an amazing job!
It's an inspiration to see PJ fans coming together and raising so much money for so many charities!
Wishlist rocks (makes devil horns with hands)!0 -

agreed on both accounts. i knew hartford was the only one i could definitely attend and really enjoyed the pre-party and doing something good with good people all around.
great job to all involved.
made for a great night and hopefully a better future for a lot of other people who couldn't be there to party with us, but certainly needed aid.
just another great reason for a big ol' 2009 tour across the US! (midwest and the south need some attention, i do believe.)0 -

Am I stupid or is VA Beach not on that list? Are you telling me that one of the two shows I picked didn't raise any money? It better not have gone to Verizon, those fuckers.0

Nope, sadly no one attending the VA Beach show stepped up to organize a fundraiser, so none actually happened. Though I do think there was a small meet-up? No biggie.. lots of money was raised regardless0 -

Why did I just click on that link? I saw it live. (I should add that to the list of rarities I've heard live...haha) I really didn't need to hear it again..but at the same time, I did. It's like a car accident - you can't resist a peek!
Maybe we should have a thing where people donate money to NOT hear him sing!0
