"Pearly" Jam

I searched the Nashville Target high and low searching for the new t-shirt. Finally I asked a woman if they had the shirts. The response - "Oh yea the Pearly Jam stuff!" Pearly Jam is what she kept referring to. She must have said it 10 times. Calling back to the store room to ask if they had some Pearly Jam shirts because the man here says we supposed to have the Pearly Jam shirts. She asked me "...so what is a Pearly Jam anyway, some other man called in asking about that Pearly Jam." She was nice about it and cracking me up and was the only thing keeping me sane since the final answer was "...just keep checking back because they say the Pearly Jam shirts didn't come in yet. Maybe Tuesday" :lol:

Luckily got it online. Love me some Pearly Jam!!!

    LOL! I got a 16 year old kid stoned out of his mind saying they "don't sell t-shirts at target" I proceeded to tell him they have departments for women, men, and children with t-shirts of all kinds. He was polite and said "no sir we don't sell any of those" I couldn't help but laugh and walk away leaving with no t-shirt and two copies of back spacer, one for me and one for my older bro. Oh well

    You get what you pay for when it comes to hiring employees. I've learned that the hard way over the years hiring people.

    That's exactly what it felt like. Maybe next time Lorne Michaels asks them to play, which I am guessing will be soon, they could work that one out. I would be happy to be a stand in and maybe change the ending where ed comes out and hands me a shirt. We can all dream right?? :lol:

    It took a lot of energy for me to not laugh out loud in front her.
    A side story to it....after she called over her phone thingie to the store room, someone else walked up behind me and she just looked at them with a blank stare and said "what's up?" Not hi just a second or can I help you, just what's up? priceless!!
