I really wonder who made the decision on which locations got the shirts, whether it was Target or Curtis Mgmt. Because somebody royally screwed up on this little marketing scheme. It will actually be cheaper for me to pay some e-bay flipping douche than it will be for me to drive almost 12 hours roundtrip to the nearest Target selling the shirts :roll:

My husband and I split up and went to 2 different stores; the one he went to didn't have any (they had no clue), but the one I went to had a bunch. I picked up 3 and they would only let me buy 1!!! The mngr. said there was a freakin limit!! I almost got in a huge fight w/ her. I asked why there was a limit and she said because the store had limited quantity, Target was only allowing one per person. I was like why? and she said, "Well what am I supposed to tell the other customers? It's only 8:30 and other people will want to buy them." That's when I told her I was waiting since 7:45 this morning and if "other customers" wanted it so bad they should have been here early too. She even threatened to kick me out of the store w/ no shirt. What a bitch! Now my hubby doesn't get one. :( I guess it's ok though, during the arguement w/ the mngr., she forgot to ring me up for the Backspacer LP (that they didn't even have out, I had to ask; they were in the back), so I got the record for free! Screw Target!!

Yeah... I am not sure what she thought people were going to think. Not to mention that there are a lot of people looking for shirts that aren't going to want to know that there are people hoarding 3 shirts (even though they claimed they just wanted a second for their 'hubby'). Just came back from the Target in Saugus, Ma and they have 10 or so sitting on the entertainment counter. I got one this morning when they opened but when I went back to check to see if they had CD's, looks like someone just laid them on the glass counter and walked away.
Northern VA. Target..the only one listed w/ a shirt within miles..I asked the associate, he knew EXACTLY what I was talking about..said he had a "small mob" look for them early in the morning- They didn't get the shirts in yet, he had checked the entire back stockroom..He expects them in Monday/Tuesday. He said people wanted to leave them their name and # and have him call them when they come in!! REally people?!?!? Has it come to that?!?! Some guy drove an hour and a half just to be shut out..I don't know, I'm thinking if I had to drive that far I would've called first!!

Yeah looks like CO has been ok so far. I went at 8 to the big Lone Tree store and there were about 4 of us getting the cds. I decided to wonder to the men's section for the shirt before I asked and they were hanging on the back wall. There weren't any smalls but the medium works.
had no problem whatsoever. the t-shirts were rolled up on display right under the cd's & they had about 6 LP's with them. got the shirt for $20 & the LP for $20.

My local Target (Encinitas, CA) had the shirts. I looked in the electronics section and the men's section and didn't see them, just as I was about to ask someone, I noticed another CD display set up at one of the check-out lanes and the shirts were on the bottom shelf.
**On a sidenote, it was pretty cool to see an album in Target...brought back childhood memories of my parents taking me to Target on the weekends so I could buy a record.
a prior post mentioned that quality was suspect. I want to say that I don't disagree, but also to add that the shirts appear to have that washed and broken in look. The material is very very soft and not heavy.
Both Targets near me have 6 shirts each in stock but don't know where they're at in the store. They couldn't be bothered to look for them. They told me to check back later.
I had to ask for the CD. They didn't even have them out. Then I asked about the T-shirt. All they had was XL which was like a medium. No buy

The other cool thing, is that all the televisions in the electronics section are periodically cycling the Fixer commercial. So it's cool to see the band/album being promoted.
Just picked up mine in South Jordan,UT. Plenty of shirts they would have let me buy as many as I wanted. I went to another store first and they said they won't get the shipment for the shirts until Tuesday. They also said that they just barely put the cd's out because they pushed up the release date to September 20th from the 22nd. I told them that the release date all along was the 20th. He looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. All these stores need to get on the same page.
Friend # 1 went to get the t-shirts at her Target which was on the list, they had them but didn't know where :? she waited an hour still nothing, tried a different Target they didnt have them at all...
Since things weren't looking that great I decided to jump in my car and drive an hour + to Fort Lauderdale beach to get it, get there they have 2 mediums left, i picked up both, one for me one for my friend who is still up in Philly looking.... she finally gets to a third Target and is able to get 2 Larges (one for her husband and one for my husband)...
Friend # 2 was able to get me a Medium in Mas. for my BFF...
