everett, ma has the CD (and some signage!) but the tshirt was nowhere to be seen. very friendly staff, but they hadn't a clue where to find it or what I was talking about.

in other news, though, target is really a pleasure to be in at 8am!

They have a box of shirts at the Saugus Target. Got one this this morning but not sure how many they had total. No CD's though.

  • Found the shirts in Sarasota, Fl. The gentleman went in the back and pulled out the box and let me grab a few.
  • I got mine in NJ. Had to ask the Tech. guy about them, he said he had them in a box. They don't know where to display them. :D

why the hell are all these shirts sitting in boxes in the back room? one would think target would be doing their best to promote this stuff........

    how much are the shirts?
  • well--good to know they are usually found with some perseverance! it isn't all that out of character for me to go to target more than once a day, so i have no problem going back and staging a sit in until they're found. :) thanks!

Someone in one of the other threads said they were $20.

  • The Target I went to shows it is one on the list to have the shirts but they didn't have them or put out yet.

They did have the album and cd's

I had to ask for the CD. They didn't even have them out. Then I asked about the T-shirt. All they had was XL which was like a medium. No buy

This was the Target in Wyomissing,Pa.
  • First store I went to (Waterfront, Pittsburgh) had ahole salespeople. They wouldn't even look for the shirts. Just said they knew nothing about them. Went to another store about 15 minutes away (Monroeville, Pittsburgh) and the guy was real cool. He was like "Oh yeah, I forgot to bring them out. Got a box in the back."

FYI you have to ask in electronics as people said.
  • THey were back by the CD's in the music section in a display with the Rockband version of the CD & a fixer single vinyl or two.

Coralville IA store had about 15-20 as of 8:10 am today. I didn't have the cash to buy a bunch of them. I was surprised that I think I got the first one in a college town.

  • My husband and I split up and went to 2 different stores; the one he went to didn't have any (they had no clue), but the one I went to had a bunch. I picked up 3 and they would only let me buy 1!!! The mngr. said there was a freakin limit!! I almost got in a huge fight w/ her. I asked why there was a limit and she said because the store had limited quantity, Target was only allowing one per person. I was like why? and she said, "Well what am I supposed to tell the other customers? It's only 8:30 and other people will want to buy them." That's when I told her I was waiting since 7:45 this morning and if "other customers" wanted it so bad they should have been here early too. She even threatened to kick me out of the store w/ no shirt. What a bitch! Now my hubby doesn't get one. :( I guess it's ok though, during the arguement w/ the mngr., she forgot to ring me up for the Backspacer LP (that they didn't even have out, I had to ask; they were in the back), so I got the record for free! Screw Target!!
Hope the rest of you get one! Good luck!

I got the XL and it fits fine...very soft, very cool t-shirt.

  • I'm trying Target today, according to that list they are supposed to have them so hopefully I get one.
    Shows:

    Seattle Key Arena 9-22-2009
  • That's unfortunate that your husband didn't get one, but personally, I'm happy to hear that they're following the policy of "Limit 1 per person" so that other people have a shot at getting one. I actually feel bad for people in retail who have to deal with angry customers when they are simply trying to do their job.

CD, CD with RB (had to have them pulled from back of store none were on display). Even though I will be buying on RB, decided to go with CD only since I didn't really want the DVD size packaging of the CD/RB combo.
    No shirts

    Framingham, MA:
No CDs, but told that they have the vinyl
Initially told no shirts, then they found shirts in back, initially told had to buy it with the CD that they didn't have, then told 1 per customer. After a little begging, I was able to buy 2 XLs for me and my wife, a L for 14 yr old son, and an M for 12 yr old. They said they only had 4 of each size for the entire store.

  • Chicago - Target store
got the cd and the shirt
had to ask for the shirts.
nice women brought a box from the back (seems to be a common theme as everyone's had to ask for them from the back). There were about 15-20 shirts in the box - she said that's all they sent her. So, yes...they're limited indeed. I didn't ask for more than one...so not sure what the deal is there, but i'm happy they're doing that...as someone else said, keeps it from others buying a bunch and then charge twice the cost on ebay (have you seen what the limited Chicago concert shirts were going for, up to $250). But also understand that if you want to buy one for other family members...makes it difficult to do.
Happy part of the $$$ is going to Feeding America
we'll see how the threading holds up...looks a little loosey, goosey...but maybe that's the design. The shirt is soft and good. And yes...i ususally wear a L, but had to get an XL.

    anyway...rockin' CD.

Only select targets are selling them, and the target I Went to had 1 box and they weren't out on display yet. This is to be expected, they are not experts in promoting music.

  • Phew, just went to the Palatine store (3rd and final) and got 1 more for my hubby!!

I wasn't aware that there was "a policy of 1 shirt per person" at Target. The mngr. at the Wheeling store was a pain, but the mngr. at the Palatine store was very nice and let some people buy multiples... Guess my question is if there is a policy:
    1. Why wasn't it stated somewhere (ad/display)?
    2. If it is only 1 per person, why are other stores allowing customers to purchase multiples?

Btw, I did go back to the car and dropped off my stuff and went back in to get another shirt. I got in line and the mngr. came over to the checkout to tell me I couldn't buy it! Geez, that's the last time I'll go to the Wheeling Target...
  • mine were behind the elctronic counter they were making sure that people were not grabing them all.
