ill buy anyone a beer who is going to cleveland on here. im kinda bent on wether or not i want this show to be a big turnout or not. might be nice to enjoy the show with some intimacy, but not so good for the band. just out of curiosity i checked tickets by trying to order 50(max) and it said there werent that many available, so i went to 25 and it would allow. this show might be close to selling out, maybe the only show yet to sell out. the place is small btw. pm me if you are going9/22/96 Toledo, OH. 8/26/98 Cuyahoga Falls, OH. 8/21/00 Columbus, OH. 8/25/03 Cleveland, OH. 8/26/03 Pittsburgh, PA. 10/03/04 Grand Rapids, MI. 5/20/06 Cleveland, OH. 6/23/06 Pittsburgh, PA. 6/22/08 Washington, DC. 5/06/10 Columbus, OH. 5/09/10 Cleveland, OH. 10/11/13 Pittsburgh, PA.0

HOLY FUCK!!!
details to come... :ugeek: :twisted:0 -
ok.. so i went to the show and there were only about 50-75 people. TOPS. my girlfriend and i showed up about 15 minutes before soulsavers went on stage and we were able to walk right on up to the front, just left of center. they played brilliantly and didn't say a word to the crowd except at the end when Mark thanked us for coming out.
They were off the stage before i could hold out my record to have them sign. started to take the setlist that was taped to the floor but their roadie ran up and said, "WE REUSE THOSE!". jesus... little bummed but there were still options.
we left the venue and began to wait by the back entrance. a VERY nice security guard for the venue talked with us and he even gave us the backstage sign that said "soulsavers" on it. (we later gave that to the only other person that was standing with us. her name is Lacie and she was also very nice). he also told us that mark lanegan had already gotten on the bus.
so the band members began walking out and the drummer signed my "Revival" 7" record i brought with me. i had a black sharpie marker at the ready too. (never go to a concert without one!). the girl keyboardist was next to sign. then the bass player. he was missing some front teeth and was VERY nice and told us he was going to make sure everyone signed it. so he brought it back to the bus and had the 2nd guitarist sign and MARK FUCKING LANEGAN SIGNED IT TOO!!!!! i was so stunned when he brought it back with mark's signature! only one person left. Rich was last to come out and was sooo very gracious and kind and signed the record and even came back to give us some stickers!!
as we were leaving i said bye to Rich and he stopped what he was doing (which was loading up some equipment) and walked up to me and shook my hand. i thanked him again for a great show and coming to texas. i think that really made his day just the three of us waiting out back for him and his band to come out and thank them. he seemed a bit downhearted by the poor crowd turnout and even said so to us. but i think we put a smile on his face.
anyway, here are some pics of the record...
