    Nothing As It Seems????

    Hell yeah!!!!

This is my favorite song off of Binaural! With Sleight Of Hand a close second.

I know I've read on here a lot, that Nothing As It Seems is a bit a down point/set killer live. I've only seen it once myself, so I can't say for certain if that is true.

But I do know that this would make for a killer opener! Or at least after an encore it would be a great first song!!

    Thanks for this vid!
  • wow....is right....WOW
  • I've said it plenty of times here, the best performance I have seen.

Mike goes into a trance at the end. I don't even have to watch it, I can see Ed saying "The beautiful" when they are clapping in unison.

But I'm watching again anyway :)

good song. There is an acoustic version from Bridge School. Interesting to read Ament's comments below in connection with watching "Affliction." I don't know if it should've been on their Greatest Hits album because they have so many, but it's an interesting song to say the least.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it as much as I did; I keep watching it and Black from that show over and over. With so much negativity on the board sometimes, it's good to be reminded why we all love this band so much! Cheers!

They opened with 'Nothing As It Seems' in Cardiff in 2000 and it was intense! It's the only time they've ever played in Wales and it started with a simple "Good evening" from Ed then that riff! It's still my favourite opening song to a show that I've been at (just beating Hard To Imagine)

NAIS is definitely in my all time PJ top ten and this video is great. I love that MIke goes off on one at the end and the band don't really notice! When Eddie looks over at him at 5:28 it's like he's thinking "What the fuck did he just do?!"
