    It cracks me up when I read on this pit about someone saying they're a bigger fan than others beacause....blah blah blah :rolleyes: Yeah yeah..."my dicks bigger than your dick" :rolleyes: What a crock o' shite!

    The "I own so much PJ merch and albums and posters and boots etc etc" and "I've been to X amount of shows" and my 10 club numbers really low, means jack shit....except that you're really lucky that you're able to afford all of those things, be able to travel to so many gigs, you joined the club in the early days - instead of waiting like a lot of people - good for you!


    As far as I'm concerned.....if you love Pearl Jam - you're as big a fan as the next :D

    i think the answer to this question will never get answered. for ME, i think i suck as a fan MATERIALISTICKLY becuz i dont own every damn piece of memorabilia! To me its more about the music and the way it gets you thru good and badd and the way it reaches you. its not about the number of shows, or boots, or 'meets' or autographs or who u know that got you here or there or how many stories youve been told by people "close to the band". its about the heart and how YOU connect to the music & lyrics and the way you feel HOME every freakin time you put on either a live show or are AT a show and you suddenly replace everything wrong in your life with the comfort of PEARL JAM. it should NEVER be a competition but instead be a growing family.
