Johnny Guitar = about Johnny Ramone??

Just a question, haven't heard the song, thinking it might be a tribute to the late great Johnny Ramone?

    I reckon it would be, knowing how much Eddie reveres Johnny! Guess we'll just have to wait and see. ;)

    Thought I read that this is about a poster on the wall at the Pearl Jam headquarters. Eddie wrote about the different album covers or images including one about Johnny "Guitar" (insert last name).

    Edit: Just found this on wikipedia..... which is where I had read it.

    "Vedder was inspired to write the lyrics for "Johnny Guitar" after viewing a collage of album covers that is pasted on the bathroom wall of the band's rehearsal space. He noticed the album cover for Johnny "Guitar" Watson's 1979 album, What the Hell Is This?, and imagined a man who becomes attracted to one of the various women on the cover and then wonders why this woman would rather be one of Watson's many girlfriends instead of his only one."
