And it was cancelled not because of weather, they gave me some bullshit about the FAA and safety something in NYC. But I think it's cause the flight wasn't sold out.

None of this is my fault. I bought a ticket for a 2 hour flight today and they cancelled. They should compensate me for this bullshit. I shouldn't have to wait around the airport until 5:30 and then get in at 11:30. To say that this is my fault is ridicuous.
I am a consumer and I paid for a service...which has not yet been delivered. I'm getting to NYC tomorrow before the PJ shows hell or highwater. I'm not letting this pathetic excuse for an airline get the best of me.Horry Kow!0 -
I feel for you, last month I flew in a four day span from NY to LA w/a stop in Phoenix, LA to Columbus w/a stop at Midway, and Columbus to NY w/a stop in Baltimore to go to two shows (Camp Freddy and STP).
we were super lucky that we had no delays/cancellations, but that's why I didn't fly in to LA the day of the show, i was afraid that would happen.
Best of luck to you, here's hoping the Concert Gods will smile on you and you'll get here with no further problems...and we'll see you at MSG!!
oh and for reference, the flights were Southwest from Long Island-LA, US Air LA-Ohio, and Southwest back to Long Island.
then 2 weeks later I flew Spirit to Florida and back to LI in three days, no problems there either.0 -

I am partial to All nippon air for asia (bento box and sake) or cathay if the boss will spring for it, and british airways for Europe.
Did cathay first class to hong kong once-NOW that was a flight everything but the female escort.
Alitalia-even the seats are green hahahahaha (at least the last time I was on one)

Mind you it's only 12:30 p.m. I'm not about to have an 11 hour travel day. Not today, not ever. So I ask about tomorrow and there is a 7 a.m. direct flight to New York. I then check out some other airlines around, but nothing. So now I'm back home after a two hour airpost visit and postponement of a killer three days in NYC...now it's only 2. Even worse I have to get up at like 4:30 a.m. tomorrow to make my flight. Luckily I'll still make the shows, but...

I totally understand that you don't want him to go out at that hour, but you could have just used one of the many trains to get in.

Suck it up. My plane landed at 7:20 pm on April 16th for Vedder's show in San Diego and I was back at the airport at midnight to sleep a couple hours for my 6:30 am flight back to Indy. Was that stupid? Yes. But sometimes you gotta suck it up and spend some time in an airport. Does it suck? Sure.
