Supersonic = Serendipity at its best
Had EXTREMELY low expectations for this song, based upon the short clip...
After finally hearing the studio version...WOW! Killer song with a sweet break-down guitar solo--will be a concert staple for years to come!
I just don't understand all the naysayers for this one. It sounds like it easily could have been No Code/Yield era...vintage PJ sound!

It's...."okay" at best.

I do love that bridge though!!! That's good stuff!0 -
well it seems to be the bside for fixer so it wont be the 2nd single... but that brings up a good question; what will the second single be?mca47 wrote:It's...."okay" at best.

Funny, I think the bands intention is completely opposite what their intention with No Code was. Supersonic is very catchy and polished unlike anything on No Code.. No Code was designed to be anything but mainstream. If anything it could best be described as a Vitalogy song, but I'd rather this album stand on its own.nak wrote:I just don't understand all the naysayers for this one. How could you have low expectations? I've only heard the itunes clip and think it sounds amazing.
Almost reminds me a bit like Satan's Bed the way the lyrics are sung (not the music itself). Can't wait for the whole record!!!0 -

heard it live in Chicago - first time I'd heard the whole song. Listened to a pretty clear version on Youtube last night. ended up listening to it like 15 times and told the wife that it was going to be my fav song on the album, and maybe my fav since Yield. i love the simplicity and how hard it rocks.0
