Supersonic = Serendipity at its best
Had EXTREMELY low expectations for this song, based upon the short clip...
After finally hearing the studio version...WOW! Killer song with a sweet break-down guitar solo--will be a concert staple for years to come!
I just don't understand all the naysayers for this one. It sounds like it easily could have been No Code/Yield era...vintage PJ sound!

I'll somewhat buy that...I'd go with more of Mankind + Lukin + Comatose.
Definitely has a Ramones vibe.
Hit me harder than anything off Avo....more so than Comatose

I sure as hell hope it's not the second single release before the album though.
I do love that bridge though!!! That's good stuff!
On the other hand, I love Supersonic. Wasn't feeling the youtube clip either, but after seeing it in Chicago, im hooked!
so true man.
the backspacer clips of all the tunes really make me hear no code/yield era pj. and i fucking love it.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
How could you have low expectations? I've only heard the itunes clip and think it sounds amazing.
Almost reminds me a bit like Satan's Bed the way the lyrics are sung (not the music itself). Can't wait for the whole record!!!
This album is going to rock.

the breakdown in the middle of the song is classic PJ.
I didn't like it very much at all when I saw the London vid. Showed my wife (nearly as big a fan as me) and she's like "that sucked".
Once I started listening to studio, it started growing on me like a weed. I can't stop listening to it now!
As for the bridge... probably my favorite part. And it sounds so... idunno... tongue-in-cheek kinda winky at the end of the two repetitions (I'm no musician, I don't know what the music nerd terms are for what I'm trying to describe). Seems a little silly, but still pretty badass. And then boom, right back in!
I hear a little "All Night" in there as well.
