    Just heard Supersonic (the 30 sec clip) for the first time and am wondering what my boys are doing. I love "new wave" pop, but that was dumb. Amongst the Waves has potential.


    I think noone will ever speak abusively of Riot Act or Avacado again. Those were great smart albums.

    Let me be the first to disprove you: Supersonic sounds great to me and I still think S/T was crap (and I've always loved Riot Act).

    I need some more simple, FUN, kick ass, no worries music from Pearl Jam. The Supersonic clip is rockin' my world. I freakin' LOVE IT!!!

    Please give the complicated, sappy music a rest for a bit. I love it too, but there's only so much of it Pearl Jam needs to provide us with. They NEED this new direction!

    Speed of Sound and The End are great songs, but if the whole album was like that, I'd feel like slitting my wrists.. and thank god no political songs so far. That genre needs a rest.

    Is that like sarcasm? It does not have to be "sappy" to be good. If Supersoinc was done any other band you would not even look at your Sirius/XM radio reciever to see who it was before switching the channel.

    NOT AT ALL.. First off, how can you make a claim about a song by 30 seconds?

    Secondly, I LOVE The Ramones and Beach Boys and that type of sound. I would have stopped on Supersonic and gave it a listen if it were by anyone else. I love that sound.

    It's way better than the other clips in my opinion.

    Out of all the clips or live performances ive heard Supersonic, Got Some and The End are incredible. Cant wait to hear the full version of Supersonic. Its happy, its uplifting, its Pearl Jam 2009 not PJ trying to sound like they did in 1991 which they went for with S/T. Gonna be an amazing album! cant wait!

    Any full track that has been released Ive really liked, so Im gonna reserve my judgement till I hear all the songs. Amongst the Waves sounds like a keeper though..........does he just reserve that word for the tunes he likes best :D

    No, but I am not always this disappointed. I have been a pj apologist for my entire PJ career. This is the first hiccup. I defended Got Some when it got hammered here and pretty much everything else. There are so many bad signs from the band right now.

    Riot Act is a great album. So is Avacado. Those were truly fun albums.
