    So,
I'm new to the 10c. I just joined about a month ago. I understand the seniority thing. But, since I just barely joined, when I buy tix through the presale, my seats will still be decent, right? just not as good as someone who's been in for a long time. So, I guess what I'm asking, are all 10c seats pretty decent? Thanks.

Yes, all 10C seats are decent. The fact that you got in is all that matters. Nothing like being surrounded by people that enjoy the music!
    Too many shows to list:
From my first show in Hawaii when they opened for RHCP to upcoming 2016 MSG and Wrigley. Seen them in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.

In my opinion, for an arena show (where 10C typically gets most, if not all, of the floor, plus some wings), the seating goes from really really great, to really crappy. By that I mean, if you are in the first 25 rows, or even on the wings, they are some of the very best seats in the house...but if you find yourself from there on back to the rear of the floor, those seats are some of the very worst seats in the house (unless you're either 6'5" tall and can see over everything, or you really don't care about actually seeing anything at a live show).

I'm taking my girlfriend to both Chicago shows. I'm 6'3', been a member since '96... I'll be ok. But she's 5'3", so she might have issues if we're fairly far back on the floor. I've decided that if we end up on the floor and she has any trouble seeing, I'm going to approach a couple of tall people on the wings to attempt a trade. I'm assuming 10C would be ok with this, right?

So, the 10C seats go further back than row 10 on the floor or no? past row 10 and most peeps would be better off in the wings. does the club usually have most of the floor like the above post says?

  • From the latest News announcement "More Tour Dates Added"...
"Seat allocation for the additional west coast shows will be distributed by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and 9-10 which are randomly assigned regardless of seniority."
So what does this mean for the Philly shows? Why do they only allude to the lottery for west coast :?:

The quality of your 10c tix depends on your #, the size/type of venue, & the allotment of 10c seats. Ampitheaters will get u a good seat, no matter what. When it comes to arenas, it can be a crapshoot: My husband joined 10c in '99, & in '06 we ended up in the front wing, Mike's side, at Boston Fleetcenter (GREAT seats!), but last yr at NYC's MSG night 1 we were more than half way back on the floor, & visibility was poor. We also got a 10c pair for night 2 (I don't know what their member # was), & they were at the VERY back of the floor. We could barely see a thing, & we were sitting with 10-clubbers who have been members for years. That being said, if there's a lottery in place, IMHO it's def worth the risk. We won lottery in Hartford last yr (2nd row Stone's side), AMAZING! I joined in '04 & I'm 5' 5.5" tall, I would NEVER try for ONLY public tix, 10c does the best they can to get us the decent seats.

  • Can you see which seats you're buying before you purchase them? I know it said for the lottery that you find out when you pick up your tickets at will call, but is it the same for the regular seats?

I just noticed that some names on touringfans.net are highlighted as "lottery winners" for some shows . . . . who has this info and how do they know they are lottery winners already?

They don't know. You don't know until you pick up your tickets.

I think those people clicked the lottery winners thng thinking that they won the 10C lottery presale just by getting trhough and getting tickets.
