Does this remind anyone else of Geoffrey the butler?
What was that...? Something like Raphael De La Ghetto.
Something like that. Great episode.
Haha
I thought of it instantly... I would have never had heard the poem otherwise!

I didn't take it as they would be back this year- I think he just meant that they would come back eventually. I'm sure they will play ATL in 2010charlesyoung39 wrote:When it comes to playing a place like Atlanta, it's not really a "which-coast-they-played-last-tour" discussion. They've played here once since 2000, and that was SIX years ago. Add to it all that Ed seemed to tease the audience during his solo stop here with an inevitable announcement of them touring here this time around. At this point, I can only hope they plan on playing Atlanta when they come back from Australia, etc.www.RLMcDaniel.com

The point isn't east coast vs. west coast. It's the completely and utterly B. f'ing S. way "tours" are now announced. It is absolutely inconsiderate to the fan base (whom they know tours with them) to announce shows in this manner. There is no reason a full leg cannot be announced all at once, just like PJ did for 10+ years and every other major touring band on the face of the planet does. At this point I no longer can see how it is the 10c's fault, these have to be Kelly Curtis/Pearl Jam decisions. This has been an issue discussed since 2006. Many have voiced their frustrations since then, and yet every tour it gets more and more absurd. Let's just announce the 2010 tour one date at a time and have everyone guess where and when they might play. It is complete crap.
