•
Your problem is likely the Saturday. My guess is that you'll have to go between $65 and $70 for a 4 star. At this point I would say there probably won't be much difference between a 4 star and 3 star in terms of price, so I would stick to the 4 star and bid $65.
This is what i get for putting it off til the last minute, LOL. Thanks for your help!

Why are people worrying about an extra $15-$20??

If you have tickets to the show...
If you have paid for airfare/train fare/or you are driving to chicago....

At this point whats an extra $20???

I would just put in whatever price I had to put in, as far as priceline, and just get the room.Right?
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

But those are two of my favorite things, so I appreciate the sentiment of you asking for them!!

are you driving form Toronto or Chicago or flying?

Driving Toronto to Chicago with the Detroit Crew... then flying home from Chi Town.

Yep, that's the crew. Jim isn't going to Chicago though I don't think... him and Mike are heading back to Detroit I believe. But the rest of us will be there. :) See ya at the shows.

I think I saw that you have to pay $45/day for parking at the Hyatt....is that right?

I'm considering parking at a train lot and riding the train into Chicago and getting around via cab or el

anyone concur? or am I stupid? or both?

For clarity here. Two nights ago a $70 bid in "Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area ' got they Hyatt Regency on Wacker for Monday.

If you needed Sunday as well, I would say do the $70 for Monday rig (since it's probably still active) then add a night to your stay at the same rate.

I'm staying Saturday till Tuesday...surprised to see a lot of people driving down from Toronto to Chicago! Shoulda planned earlier and set up a car pool....oh well, the gf lives in sarnia so that cuts down the drive by 3hours if I stay there Friday.

Since I've never been to a pre party before, what are they generally like?

And like a poster said above, what are you guys doing about parking (assuming you don't want to pay $48 a night).

I'm avoiding that by flying :)

The cost to park at the Hyatt for the 4 days that I am going to be in Chi-town was just a shade less than the cost of our two round trip flights from Buffalo to Chicago.

A Chicago friend told me about this one.

Well i had no option but to fly since Im in Miami  but I had rented a car which I promptly cancelled when i saw the per night charge at the Hyatt and a good friend told me I won't be needing a car while Im there even to move from and to the airport :)
