Pearl Jam Boston Rumor???

I was listening to WAAF radio in Boston around 6:30 EST and the DJ, Mistress Cari, said that:
" Pearl Jam are coming to the Boston area this fall and details will be available soon."
After saying that she played The Fixer.......No dates or venues were announced and she gave no reference to where the info came from.

Just thought I'd pass it along for what its worth.....

    well if boston is being played...so is NYC...or at least somewhere around the armpit (LI, NYC, Northern NJ)...

    It would be very nice and courteous if they could possibly announce any BOSTON or NYC Shows before I Go spend $1,000 on tickets and hotels for Philly...

    it would suck if PJ and the 10C allowed a bunch of out-of-towners get tickets to the Philly shows then announced shows in Boston and/or New York. let's just say there would be some annoyed Philly people.

    I'm with you RageJoe......really trying my best not to bite on one of these Chicago/PHilly shows in hopes of a couple Boston/NYC shows. The "doghouse" will have my name written all over it...especially if these shows pop up after I pull the trigger on a traveller!!!

    Also doesn't help that I pulled club seats for Chicago a couple hours ago just fooling around!!

    Forget Boston they need to play Atlanta they haven't played it since 2003. Ed played last month in Atlanta and said they would be back in the fall but who knows if he was being series or not.

    That'd be far more convenient for me, but I don't see that happenin' any time soon :lol: I think they'll be playing Boston in the fall, and I think it'll be announced within the next 2 weeks.

    Yeah, they have never played Worcester before. That'd be pretty awesome, and while still an arena, a smaller one at that.

    if true, that would then make me think a stop in the NYC area, not out of the question. crazy.
    man, it's insane how show announcements go. i was utterly convinced that philly was *it* for the NE this year.
    well unless NY gets announced, i will more than likely pass on any other shows....save my time/$$$/travels for future shows in 2010.

    Someone else should call WBCN or WAAF again to find out more info. I called and my phone was retarded so the guy either didn't understand me or was like "No, they aren't playing in Boston."
