Thank you for your response in relation to the Pearl Jam pre-sale ticket offer.
In view of comments from customers, we would like to confirm that we have verified transactions with our ticketing provider, and in accordance with the time on their servers, no orders were processed for the Pearl Jam ticket offer before 9am. As previously stated, any issues experienced were due to the popularity of the offer, and the volume of people trying to purchase tickets.
We would like to assure you that we are taking all feedback from customers seriously, and will be addressing any issues with our ticketing partner to ensure that future ticket promotions with major bands run smoothly.
they really are showing some serious disdain for their punters
Kind Regards,
got the same email..0 -
Yay! Come to my pretend gig instead - honest, I'll be much better than Eddie0

Of course, it would help if I actually plan to go to my own pretend event. Instead of planning to be outside the venue sobbing like a baby and bawling 'Let me in Eddie, let me innnnnnnn!' :-D0

Yeah I had a scan too. Seatwave and it's similar touting pals are up to about £230 for one. It's shocking. I am not going on ebay as that will just go silly as the auctions end. I can't afford to pay anything like that, pure and simple. It's so disappointing knowing that this is going on in you back yard and you are completely priced out of the market. I may go down on the day and see what happens with the touts come about 930ish, if they haven't sold so many tickets they may be forced to sell cheap. But I doubt it. :(Rock on!!!!

Hey, maybe if all the 10c fans are actually OUTSIDE the show cos we couldn't get in, with a nice fat banner saying 'Sorry guys, the 10c couldn't get in to see you', they might take notice!0

And they would see us how?!?
The band will arrive there around 3pm I should imagine. The banner will have to be in full swing then!Rock on!!!!

LOl , I am forgetting I am old and past it now
In my yooof I hung out outside a couple of venues just to try and grab a hello or autograph from a few bands....I guess these days they turn up amidst high security and are shoved into the venue with just a few little windows to peer at us out of. But yeah soundcheck is usually any time between 3pm - 6pm...

I am working until 5, currently temping but currently unemployed so that's why money is a factor at moment. I will think about rushing down to SBE after work and seeing what happens. But I don't really fancy hanging out there with all the happy folk who will be going to see the gig, and hearing mulffled noises from outside doesn't appeal much either!Rock on!!!!

Ames - on the first post of this thread it says...
bold name = confirmed that they are still in need of a ticket after the general sale.
but also...
Anyone who has not been confirmed, and is therefore in bold on the list, by Wednesday 29th will be remved
So I don't know whether I should be bold or not, but either way I definitely DO need a ticket!
Sorry mate, missed out a 'not' in there! To clarify, bold is confirmed and will be included in the draw

Hi folks
Just to update you in case you didn't see Ames's post earlier, he will update the list when he gets back later today/tonight (but before the lottery). By updating we mean he will unbold anyone who no longer needs spares, and will bold anyone who has told him that they still need a spare following the HMV and 10c sales, and other facilities.
At the last count, we had ONE ticket going spare between about 43 of us!0 -

thats better than the odds of winning a tenner on the lottery....
There still seems to be a lot of people trying to sell these on ebay unsuccessfully at high prices, so I really see there being a good deal to be had on the day if anyone gets real desperate0 -

I have never, ever been on the day of a gig to find spares. I know it happens, I have sold many spares often for well below the face value just to get rid. But what are the odds of paying a decent price, and what do you class as a decent price? I will pay up to about £100 but I can't afford more.Rock on!!!!
