Without going through the thread, have people received their tickets for Manchester in the post yet?

Most of us are pick up on the day pre-sale :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • I know this is nothing to do with Manchester but there's been worry about the meet up in London and getting tickets etc as the pub is an underground ride from the O2 so I had an idea, combining all ideas and accomodating all requirements....

As people are worried about ticket pick up and queueing, I'm thinking Market Porter for those who want to start drinking early (I know myself, Dave, Tamara and Jam will be in London early), then hotel check in and ticket pick up (around 3pm dependant on check in times and tenclub ticket release time - plenty of time for queueing if necessary) and then back to the HaHa Bar or alternative pub in le O2 once tickets are got and people are ready for the show? Would this be OK?

    works for me... ;)

am on the 10:15 train down from Manchester so get in to London about 12:30, but will probably pop in to work for an hour or so to make them think i'm around and to dump my bag. probably make it down to the Market Porter later on and then on to the ticket queue and beers in the O2 somewhere...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

When did you buy them? I got mine off Ticketmaster the day they went on sale and they arrived within a week.

you and your work... always popping in... if you're on a days holiday you're on a days holiday.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

well that's the point, i'm NOT on holiday and am hoping to avoid having to take two days off for the Manchester and London shows if i can get away with it!

work as usual Monday morning, get train up after lunch to arrive 3-something, beers, PJ, beers, train back down Tuesday morning, slip into work (maybe popping would make too much noise...) and send a few emails, leave my bag so it looks like i'm around somewhere, then head off to join the ticket queue at the O2 before beer, PJ and home. sorry, going to have to miss the key-swapping party in Docklands...
