Staind wins by default of sucking less.
Staind music makes me feel like killing myself...it's more depressing than country music0 -

I quite like Seether. They have some top tunes. Staind annoy me immensly. Seether's Immortality is quite good so they get the nod"The mind is a wonderfull thing to be altered"

Seether did a by far better job of covering Immortality.
In my opinion I don't think anyone should cover Black.0 -

Let's not forgot that Eddie forgets the words to some of Pearl Jam songs quite often. He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Yes they do, infact they do a great job covering anything. Staind. Good Band. Not a big Seether fan.

what is good about staind? They use the same formula in every song, 4 chords with Lewis crying about his life. I'm am suprised they have lasted as long as they have. I rank them along with bands like Nickelback and 3 doors down. Its all the same, same song, same lyrics. Its gotten to the point where I can't tell them apart.9/4/98, 8/4/00, 12/8/02, 12/9/02, 4/15/03, 4/16/03, 4/19/03, 4/25/03, 4/26/03, 4/28/03, 4/29/03, 4/30/03, 7/8/03, 7/9/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/6/04, 9/1/05, 9/2/05, 5/16/06, 5/17/06, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 5/30/06, 6/1/06, 6/3/06, 8/5/07, 6/11/08, 6/12/08, 6/14/08, 6/16/08, 6/24/08, 6/25/080 -
I'd love to see this fight. Pearl Jam should have them brawl on stage instead of having opening bands"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."

in honesty though, i don't care for either of the bands. I used to enjoy Staind and Seether had one or two songs i didn't hate.“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”0 -
I didn't know about the Seether one. Just listened on Youtube. Both are pretty good. It is nice to see newer bands covering them as they are obvious fans.0
