any word on who is opening for pj in chicago.....been gone a while.

    me too, it has to be because the opener is playing relatively close to the date nearby, which makes me lean more toward Ben Harper n R7

    The other possibility is that if it's someone that has or is playing at one of the major festivals in town (pitchfork or lollapalooza), they're either negotiating the contract or not allowed to make the announcement until after the festival.

    Probably Depeche Mode....since they will already be in town for Lollapalooza.

    It is starting to appear like it will be Ben Harper, which I would be fine with. It's been a few years since I've seen him.

    I really hope its not Ben Harper. It no longer feels special to me when he comes out to do a song with the band. Besides, I bet everyone going to the UC was in Grant Park for Lolla so we've all seen Ben Harper come out and sing a song with the band.

    Which reminds me... I would much rather see Ben open than hear 'No More' again.
