    The songs off Backspacer I've heard so far: The Fixer, Got Some (and these are the only two I really have in my head), The End, Speed Of Sound, and Unthought Known (all live, and I barely remember how they sound, because I only listened a few times). When Backspacer comes out, I'll have up to 9 songs to hear for the first time. In all my time as a Pearl Jam fan (from the end of 1992 until now (and Ten is the only album I didn't buy the day it was released...that happened a year and four months before I even knew abut Pearl Jam) I always knew a song or two before the album was released. In 1993 I heard Animal and RVM, in 1994 I knew about half of Vitalogy from hearing song after song that entire year, 1996 Who You Are/Habit, 1998 Given To Fly, 2000 Nothing As It Seems/Insignificance, 2002 I Am Mine, 2006 World Wide Suicide/Unemployable.

    i still have not heard the fixer... and i have not missed it at all...

    i am buying a new home stereo and record player just so when it arrives i am going to pop it on the turntable with some nice headphones and dive right in, just me and the backspacer!

    and whats wrong with enjoying an entire album when it comes out? this song by song leak shit is for the birds and ruins albums in my opinion...

    for example, i just listened to the last decemberists album and the last death cab for cutie album all the way through from beginning to end without ever hearing any other song off of the albums, and i fucking LOVED both albums after doint that.. i fi heard them one by one or little snippets and shit i probably would not like the albums as much

    enjoying an actual ALBUM is a lost art, you guys can have the singles and snippets, i am going old school for this one

    Im definitely for not listening to leaked songs so I've only listened to Conan's Got Some and now The Fixer. These songs have got me excited about the new album, but leaked songs just seem to ruin it for me....
