Really disappointing. I've been a fan for years and know it seems like pearl jam are doing a gig for their fans but it is not true. They've really lost touch with the fans-I had to buy tickets at over extortinate prices for the Manchester gig and will probably have to do that again. No loyalty to fans. Yes, I'm annoyed today.

man if you had posted here for a manchester ticket you'd have got one, theres no need to pay big on those at all.

I just helped a fellow tenclubber out with a spare I have yesterday....

this one is hard but getting tickets for Manchester and the O2 was the easiest thing in the world.
And you should never pay touts, it only encourages them and make getting tickets more difficult next time.

Everyone please note that we will stop adding names to the spares lottery list tomorrow at 9 AM.

If you haven't got any tickets yet and want a chance of taking part in the draw, add your names over in this thread:

  • Folks please note -

The spare tickets list will be closed at 9am tomorrow morning, after that, no one else will be added to the 'wanting tickets' list. It has been decided over the course of the thread that this is the fairest method of allocating the few spares with the numerous fans wanting tickets. Apologies for any disappointment

Please refer to the thread on Given to Fly regarding spare tickets for info!

ARGH I just typed a whole reply and it disappeared :(

Ok I just talked to HMV on the phone about this - randomly got through to the same guy I talked to on Monday who had said then that a second link would be sent! He basically could not give me any info about this second allocation of tickets and instead sent me to call Keith Prowse who are the third party ticketing agency. Keith Prowse, comically, knew zilch about it either and said I would have to call HMV back to find out who they planned to send this new ticket link to!

Oh and the guy at HMV more or less said that HMV had not planned or handled this whole palava well at all - well we knew that already!

Does anyone else want to try calling them to see what they get told? A few of us called on Monday and were told different things - it would be really good if we can find out exactly who they plan to send this link to, i.e is to customers who tried to get through on Monday?

Their tel is 0845 603 8576 and you need to go to website querys and pick the option for general queries after that... :geek:

Thanks for getting in touch with them.

Gee, I hope I get an email...
"We get these pills to swallow... how they stick in your throat... Tastes like gold..."
  • I cancelled my order so i guess the link may not be forthcoming.
  • I was just thinking that about the email myself! Surely we can't all be this unlucky three times in a row? I mean, we're all good people right? < starts gibbering to self >

Hmm. I think madness has now set in after three days of staring at the forum and willing all the karma in the world to send tickets to us good people!
  • Anyone else noticed that that second allocation message has now disappeared from their HMV link (sent on Monday?)

    Mine has now gone!! Nooooooooooo!

Hey guys, I know this has already been discussed, but i'm still a bit confused as to which sites are selling the tickets via the general sale tomorrow morning. There is no mention on the HMV website or the ticketmaster website. The only place I can find that says they are selling them tomorrow is the SBE website. I'd be very grateful for any help, links etc.

I'm hoping for 3rd time lucky after failing in the 10C and HMV presales!

    Cheers! :)
