I'm looking forward to picking this up tomorrow. The 3-d was amazing on it, and I thought it was a good representation of the book.
Heading to the San Diego comic con this week, on friday morning there is a panel with Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman that should be excellent."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Disappointed in the 3d version. Wasn't expecting the red/blue glasses. Seemed to wash the colors out a lot more when we tried to watch the 3d version. Either that, or I have a crappy tv. Could be both."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Does it work with the other non colored 3d glasses that you get from other 3d movies?merkinball wrote:Disappointed in the 3d version. Wasn't expecting the red/blue glasses. I ordered my copy off of amazon. That's kinda disappointing to hear it's the old school blue and red 3d glasses though

I doubt it. Taking off the glasses, the film has the red/blue separation you see on other 3d movies. It's frustrating, because the 3d in the theater was amazing."You're no help," he told the lime. I fail to see how it'll work without the proper projector and screen type.
Not trying to be a Killjoy, but 3D doesn't work the same on a normal tv.I'll Ride The Wave Where It Takes Me0 -
There have been several 3D commercials on TV where you have to wear the 3D glasses. Those have always looked OK.Hitch-Hiker wrote:I fail to see how it'll work without the proper projector and screen type.
