I'm looking forward to picking this up tomorrow. The 3-d was amazing on it, and I thought it was a good representation of the book.

Heading to the San Diego comic con this week, on friday morning there is a panel with Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman that should be excellent.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Disappointed in the 3d version. Wasn't expecting the red/blue glasses. Seemed to wash the colors out a lot more when we tried to watch the 3d version. Either that, or I have a crappy tv. Could be both.

Does it work with the other non colored 3d glasses that you get from other 3d movies?

  • I ordered my copy off of amazon. That's kinda disappointing to hear it's the old school blue and red 3d glasses though :(

I doubt it. Taking off the glasses, the film has the red/blue separation you see on other 3d movies. It's frustrating, because the 3d in the theater was amazing.

That sucks. I still have the good 3D glasses from seeing Up.

I fail to see how it'll work without the proper projector and screen type.
Not trying to be a Killjoy, but 3D doesn't work the same on a normal tv.

There have been several 3D commercials on TV where you have to wear the 3D glasses. Those have always looked OK.
