    I guess cause I grew up in an era when bands like The Clash thought it important to issue double and triple albums for the price of a single album, when bands put together tour packages to ensure value for money and when the music was the most important thing, not the rampant commercialism. It's possibly not the band, more the promoters, but this whole attitude of 'charge us what you like because someone will pay it' is affecting the music scene as badly as it is affecting the Premier League, making music a middle class thing rather than available to all.
