I hope the 10c members who have allready ordered Backspacer via PJ.com will be favoured when it comes to the lottery. Also those who live in London too! I have ordered the album via 10c as I always do but now having to order a second album from HMV to double my chances of this gig. I will end up with two albums perhaps which I am not keen on but if it gets me into that gig all the better. I really hope they do something similar in Europe for non UK members as be nice to share the love.

eh....for those in london? won't happen.

preference for albums purchases? not gonna happen.

    europe shows? unlikely dude

    keep on wishing though!

Why would anyone in not-usa order something from 10c. It took me 2 months to recieve a hoodie. If i was to do it i ship it to a friend who then passes it onto me so i get it under 2 weeks.

Just go to the store to buy the cd after we got these tickets. But i guess people like collecting the gimmicky 10c editions, waiting a lot of time and paying $$$$$ for shipping.

exactly true...buying for 10c first of all is for support the club and the band, but the shipping are high and the time of delivery alot,,the last 2-3 months are better couse after the whole issue with the deluxe packages, they send them to the german conection and then to the europe...but still the fans have to get something,,i think is fair, after the put all the europeans out and leave to this the uk ones,,to give something extra to the ones that they order the backspacer...not the hmv ones get tickets and 10c member stay out od the venue..ok..ill forget the thing that all the others europeans,,,have the disease that cant even come to the show...anyway,atleast make happy the uk 10c members..

I seem to remember something about from 17.00hrs the day before..... so tomorrow after 5pm!

Looks like 5pm is the magic time for different things!
  • hey guys, quick question - i won't be home from work until atleast an hour after the ten club pre sale starts tomorrow evening..... but noticed that this is a lottery where there is a window of over 24 hours to "buy" tickets. so it should give an even chance to all that (provisionally) buy tickets in this period of time, whether it be at 5pm or 11pm. right??
plus at 5pm the servers will probably crash

Yes, you should be fine, they arn't going to run out of stock i dont think, just everyone goes for it and see what happens. If you are unlucky and i get spares, i am def giving one to you purely becuase of your username!

Maybe, you are making a reference to patridge, but a negative one so perhaps not.

Yes, everyone try for both. I am unable to try for the presale as I will be teaching on Tuesday, so any spares please think of the board members first!!!

Really pleased about the 10c lottery though, totally appropriate to let home fans have an exclusive attempt for tickets. Sucks for other Europeans, but if they were playing a small show in your country, you'd be pissed if you had everyone else invading.

Anyhooo...it's alll gooood, lots of us are seeing the boys anyway.

    Good times :)
you know my 1st spare goes to you. and I'll try to get my hands on as many tickets as I possibly can, out of the tuts hand and ready to pass them on to friends that miss out.
We got to play it as a team!

Oh and if anyone wants to organise a gang to mug touts outside the venue on the day, I'm in

Bah. I still maintain that this show should be ticketed on a distance-from-venue basis. Entry into the venue too- those living within one mile in first, 3 minutes later those within 3 miles, and so on.

Sure this sales format will be open to the other Europeans... if we haven't completely obliterated the allocation already ;)
ok, but with a minimum residency of 1 year at that place to qualify

Bring on the Lottery!! I'm feeling lucky. I won ten quid this week so 2 tickets to Pearl Jam will really round things off nicely
Or maybe you will have used up your 'luck quota' with that lottery win (even if it is only £10!). I'm in the same boat as you....
having had my bike stolen on Friday  , I'm due for some luck ;)

count me in for some of that!!!

Lets see how many we get guys and then we can talk about helping each other out. I have a few chances today and a lot of chances tomorrow....potentially no tickets, and potentially 20, if i get any spares they are 100% coming here.
  • Hi all! Have been reading your posts with interest, great to see so much passion out there :)

I have been a Pearl Jam fan for 17 years but have never been able to afford the tickets previously OR been able to get hold of any as they sold out so quickly! :) Despite being up at the crack of dawn for the O2 Arena show, and spending an hour on the phone and internet I was unable to get tickets and I was genuinely devastated. And having seen the Ebay prices...! It seems the O2 Arena sold plenty of them to ticket touts and lots of tickets were on Ebay before the VENUE even opened for pre-sales. How? Because O2 allowed their mobile phone customers to buy tickets - plenty of whom were not PJ fans and just wanted to make a fast buck on Ebay!

So - I am over the moon that 10c offer this lottery. It shows their dedication to their fans and is about as much as they can do to stop the touts / ticket purchases by non-fans. It is the fairest way to make sure that at least some of PJ's UK fans can see the show at a reasonable price. PJ play here very very rarely and so of course there is going to be a scuffle and disappointment when they do a show and not everyone can get in but for me, this is an amazing opportunity to see them in a better, more intimate venue. I am also glad about the HMV pre-sale as it gives me a second chance to finally make my dream come true and see PJ live. And if I don't get a ticket? I will be really devastated but glad that some of you other fans out there are going along :))

It's not fair to say only London fans who bought the album from 10c should have first dibs - has anyone thought about the environmental side of that? If we all only bought the CD from 10c for that reason then we are unnecessarily wasting freight / fuel - (aside from the financial cost from our own pocket) when we can simply order it in our own country / buy from a shop :-)

I do however love the idea of PJ maybe doing a show only for UK / Europe fans - what a lovely idea. Would be so nice to have everyone together. (I don't want to be elitist about it - I know plenty of life long PJ fans who simply haven't been able to afford the 10c membership and they shouldn't be penalised as being 'not as much of a fan' because of that..)..but would be great for all of us to come together and enjoy the PJ live experience. What a moment that would be!

Good luck everyone - I love ya all for your passion for the music, it's what life is all about! :)

Resident of London - I will put in for the lottery, but I tend to have to WORST luck so I will not be surpised if I don't get tickets for this

How much are they...£50 each? Thanks!
  • Hey there - I saw online that they were £40 each but not sure if that is true or not?
    Wishing you luck too!!!

Cheers!! Taking of my bad luck.. I just pre-ordered the new album with HWV but my computer in work was running really slow so missed the 12.00pm cut off time for getting included in tickets for the show. I also won't be able to get to the internet for 5pm this evening so will be getting the boyfriend to to it - he has a tendenacy to forget to do things
  • Does anyone know when the O2 presale starts? I have a friend on O2 who I could contact who may be able to access the presale ...
  • kazmokazmo Posts: 99
According to the O2 website, their pre sale starts on 23rd...which is the same day as the general sale? I keep checking the blueroom just in case the pre-sale date changes though

Only 4 weeks until Manchester, I can't wait, I'm just praying I can get some tickets for SBEas this would make this the best summer ever. First Neil Young at Glastonbury, then Pearl Jam in Manchester, maybe PJ in London and the wife finally letting me buy a split screen campervan!!! woop woop

Anyone know what time the HMV pre-sale opens? Need to make sure I'm at my desk in time tomorrow!
