To all who bitch about the Philly shows

Relax......

This is merely a hunch but I have learned from past experience. PJ plays San Diego on Oct 9th and then Philly on Oct 28th. That's 19 days of (as of now) no shows. Am I crazy for thinking this will change? i see so much pissing and moaning about people not getting Philly tix. Chances are there will be plenty of dates to fill those 19 days and I'm sure a good portion will be East Coast venues. They just announced a show in the UK today that is 3 weeks away. October is 3 months away so there's plenty of time. Sorry if I'm rambling but I am going to Chicago next month and I'm confident I will see PJ again before years end in NY, Boston, or some other Northeast venue. Not to mention Backspacer will be a month old during this time, what better time to tour?
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

9/29/04 Boston, 6/28/08 Mansfield, 8/23/09 Chicago, 5/15/10 Hartford
5/17/10 Boston, 10/15/13 Worcester, 10/16/13 Worcester, 10/25/13 Hartford
8/5/16 Fenway, 8/7/16 Fenway
EV Solo: 6/16/11 Boston, 6/18/11 Hartford,

I agree! They will fill that 19 day gap with more tour dates...it makes no sense to take 19 days off between San Diego and Philly. :P

IMO I don't think we'll see anymore shows other than rollovers. I think the gap is there so the guys can have a break after doing the crazy LA /Austin / LA trip...it looks to me like they've built this tour so they can do a few dates with some heavy traveling, take a nice break, do a some more, take a nice break, and do some more.

I don't see them doing two solid months of touring this time around...

    hope I'm wrong, though!

I agree. Tickets in the middle of the country might sell a little slower so if anything those would be announced sooner. Hope I'm wrong.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I think a few night stint @ SPAC would be a beautiful way to fill in some of those dates.
