Is it really a possibility that PJ would use a Center Stage setup at the Spectrum? I would be really suprised but usually those listings are correct. Thoughts?

I've always thought Center Stage performances were pretty damn cool... just watch any old Beatles footage and you'll agree!

In 3d. And release it in HD 3D in theatres, followed by a Blu-Ray release (available both in 3D or standard) with a DTS-HD MA 7.1 track.

I did see the U2 one, and it was quite spectacular I thought. They utilized the technology well - they didn't use effects or anything that jumped out at you, it just felt more like you were there - they essentially used it for depth perception so that it felt like you were actually at the concert, and it reached that goal pretty well I thought. If Pearl Jam did that, I would go see it about fifteen times in the theatre, and still have to restrain myself from going again!

yah i can see it being pretty cool... seems like thats the new trend with 3-D... just giving good depth... really cool with "up"... id be there if it happens... dont think PJ is marketable enough for the movie industry to get behind the idea though... maybe backspacer will change that :D

I saw it as well and enjoyed it. Very well done.

I'm kinda doubting it's center stage. The venue doesn't even have a seating map for center stage at the Spectrum.

In 03, it was end stage there and across the street at the Wachovia Center is was endstage in 05.
