    I know...pathetic! I didn't realize Bruce does that. He's played somewhat close to me a lot more times than Pearl Jam has in the last 5 years.

    Bruce plays Jersey like 50 times a year- I guess they are his only audience left. Pearl Jam is turning into just doing summer tours in the same 4 cities every summer. Every once and awhile they will throw a show to a city they haven't been to in 10 years (the south last year), but they will see to it that they hit Chicago, Boston, and Philly whenever they can. Even solo tours, didn't Philly and Boston get hit on both legs of it? They don't even play Seattle, and they live there. They are turning into Bruce


    Pearl Jam is to Boston, Philly and Chicago as Wayne Newton is to Las Vegas

    I don't know about Bruce, but this is what PJ has been doing lately, and it makes us left coasters kinda sad.

    I'll be the first to admit that Philly is spoiled, but them playing Philly is not so much the band becoming Springsteenlike, but because they like closing out old venues like they did at Chicago Stadium and being one of the last acts at Boston Garden.

    The band really respects historic buildings where lots of concerts have taken place and the fact that Dr. J and Charles Barkley played there who Ed and Jeff loved as basketball players and that Springsteen's name is hanging from the rafters honoring all his sold out shows at the Spectrum doesn't hurt either.

    Membership is renewed and now good 'til 7/10/10.

    I am so very happy I moved from Seattle to NYC. Europe this Summer and it looks like Philly this October. That's a good fix. :D
